Hey guys, thought I would draw you in with a controversial thread title. Anyway, a group made up of myself and 3 other accounting students at Manchester University have been selected as 1 of 20 semi-finalists in this years AICPA Case Competition. It's kind of a big deal in the accounting world. My group made a video, directed and edited by yours truly. This years theme was to advise a presidential candidate on a tax policy so we made a video on that. I know you are thinking that is boring but we spiced it up pretty good. The top 3 schools move on to the finals and get to present their plans in Washington DC. We are a small school going up against larger schools so we need your help with voting. ...I thought it was pretty good. I understand VAT. Its actually been chucked around at a couple points throughout the last 20 years. Its something that its proponents are very loyal to, but are few...Kinda like Gary Johnson.
