IMO, he's a backup plan if they miss out on 2 of Osborne/Bonner/Walton. Last year they didn't really have a lot of backup plans and it hurt them, so it's nice to see that they appear to have changed their strategy this year.

Dezephen's other official visits are scheduled to Purdue, Kansas, KSU, and Nebraska. Even if he's a composite 4 star now, it doesn't appear that other premier schools view of him is in line with his ranking,

Getting Adams & O’Brien on campus together with all those other commits could be huge. Especially now that O’Brien is announcing on 6/20. It seems it’s a PSU vs ND battle for each.

TE recruiting is a little bit of a head scratcher to me. It seems we can’t get any traction with the big names. I don’t think Anderson is visiting any more (I could be totally wrong on that as well, I hope I am). So, are we ok with taking just Jacobson at TE? That’s what it might turn out to be. Hopefully we can make a move with Premer, but it looks like that’s an ISU/KSU battle. Who knows about the 2 new Ohio TE offers.

Hopefully the staff and commits can really seal the deal down the stretch here heading into the dog days of summer!

Anderson seems to be 50/50 on visiting at this point but as for TE it seems by default we should be able to land a 2nd guy (assuming Jacobson commits) Fogle has PSU in his top group but they have about 5 TEs already and it looks like Sorensen could commit there as well. Have to keep an eye on where these dominos fall, but who knows with these kids who seem to all commit to the same school in bunches playing the same position these days.

I was thinking about tossing on a ND polo and stealing one of the golf carts they have set up for recruiting. Im going to take recruits on a true campus tour that ends with one of them being a designated driver for me.
