They will wear matching outfits
LOL I cannot honestly think of a more bizarre program setup than USC will have. Lincoln, Bowden, Rob Ryan (honestly was wondering if he was still alive), and now EJ. Going to thoroughly enjoy them getting pummeled soon with these clowns. He fits there nicely. I will enjoy watching them all burn together.
those jobs dont pay shit, you gotta be some sort of chump to wanna do it. I'd say 90% of those guys get by on their spouse's income or free rent living in their mom's basement (Singer)Better question is how does EJ still have a job and how does he keep getting blueblood assignments?
God bless america. What newsSounds like our good pal EJ is going over to the USC beat. Nothing official but that’s what’s making the rounds

USC really going all-in on douchinessSounds like our good pal EJ is going over to the USC beat. Nothing official but that’s what’s making the rounds
Also interesting that his successor has struggled. Wouldn’t that make Venables’s coaching more fraudulent? He's simultaneously ripping Lincoln while blowing the SEC.
If he didn't leave Norman, is Paul this critical?
Me thinks no.
Most around here think he left Norman due to SEC fear which he knew OU was about to join. What he didn't know ironically enough was that USC would be in a super physical, difficult conference in the Big 10. The way he left OU was horrible and shocking. He is not a culture guy at all. Just good with x's and o's and fortunate enough to work with some great qbs Murray, Mayfield, Hurts, C. Williams, etc. He's simultaneously ripping Lincoln while blowing the SEC.

OU's offense has been bad under Venables. A lot of hype here currently for John Mateer and the new offensive coordinator. They host Michigan likely Underwood week 2 in a massive game. Their schedule is very tough, but Venables really needs a good season. Also interesting that his successor has struggled. Wouldn’t that make Venables’s coaching more fraudulent?
Call me crazy but I think SC is a 10 win borderline playoff team and I hope they can actually keep their players and ND vs SC becomes the premier rivalry in College Football
Top 10 based on what?Call me crazy but I think SC is a 10 win borderline playoff team and I hope they can actually keep their players and ND vs SC becomes the premier rivalry in College Football

No need to make ND a regional school otherwise might as well go Big 10, keep playing schools nationwideIt's the only rivalry of ours worth keeping and I definitely think they can make the playoffs this year.
I'd rather ND start a regional rivalry with every other year rotations of PSU and Michigan, and maybe a Tennessee. These are our recruiting grounds.
Teams in college football take on the personality of there coach… Riley is soft and afraid his team is going to be… they are going to lose prob 6 games this year again and ND will beat them by 4 touchdowns
... I'd add Illinois to that list as well.I'm not sure USC loses 6 this year, but I could definitely see them losing at least 3 or 4. Then again, they could lose 6, they did lose to Minnie and Maryland last year. I don't see them getting to the playoffs in the B1G this season, it'll probably be OSU, Penn State, Oregon, and either Michigan (Don't think they'll be that good) or Indiana again. Indiana has a somewhat favorable schedule again this year, then ol' Cig is going to hit a tougher wall in '26 if he sticks around.
Illinois to the playoffs? I think they're a little overrated still, not sure they have the horses for a playoff push, but I think Bielema is best suited for the B1G and is back where he belongs. Not sure he'll have them as dominant as when he was at Wisky, but he's on the right track. I don't see them getting past PSU, OSU, and probably Indiana. I think they'll give USC trouble if they play smash mouth, USC tends to fold like Oregon in those situations. Rutgers gave them some trouble last year too.... I'd add Illinois to that list as well.
Based on offensive talent and 2nd year under a new DCTop 10 based on what?
Their offense should be really good and probably will buy Riley another year.Based on offensive talent and 2nd year under a new DC
btw I said 10 wins not top 10. Although I don't think top 10 is out of reach
USC guys on Twitter seem to think they got the best coaching staff 😂
Penn State says the same thing. It's hard to argue that Knowles is probably the best DC right now, but I don't think there's anyone else I'd trade for on their staff lol. I definitely don't want Big Game James.
