I think most of what could be said about the USC game has already.

Can I just gripe about how USC ALWAYS brings their band to this game. Yet, when was the last time ND brought their band to LA?

Seriously, I'm getting kinda tired of seeing other programs consistently bring their bands on away games no problem.

Meanwhile, when was the last time ND's band traveled for a legitimate away game? There's just no excuse at this point.

They didn't travel for a SINGLE away game last year. And no, Yankee Stadium doesn't count. That's a placeholder for a home game. They could've easily made the trip to Purdue, and didn't.

I just can't fathom why ND's band is so reluctant to go anywhere.

I was very surprised when ND's band wasn't at the Miami game. Florida's traveled to Hard Rock a few weeks later, and I'm pretty sure USF had their band there as well when both played the Canes.

Musings from Arledge: USC get bullied again in South Bend

I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.

This is my favorite part... "I want to talk about only one thing. Softness. Getting bullied. Getting punched in the face all game for what feels like the 300th year in a row by the Irish. And having the same thing happen against Illinois(!) a few weeks ago. And having it happen against all of the other teams that have given USC a wedgie in front of tens of thousands of spectators and a television audience over the last 16 years. "

Leonard was so close to making that tackle and then they would've had absolutely no tape to use. Lemon is good, but LM made him his bitch Saturday night

My brother was in the ND Marching band. I asked him the question and he said it was budget. He was there 96-00. He stated they usually only did 1 road trip. Sometimes 2, but he told me he went to Purdue, Michigan, Michigan St and Pitt. Plus the bowl games as well.

He said they never went to USC. He said the local ND Club of So Cal would create an alumni band and have them play/represent sometimes in the past.

The fact we played 2 of the top 7 to start the season and 4 of the bottom 10 to end the season is mildly irritating

I have noticed that USC twitter has shifted from crying about the refs to coping about how Lemon wasn’t really shut down. Very strange.
yep, that shit didn't stick to the wall, so need to try something else.

Question: When was the last time we won during a giga-recruiting game like this? The last times I remember that happening we shit the bed.

Why the literal fuck is Michigan ranked ahead of SC? I understand this could all play out in the end, but it still shows how nonsensical the rankings are.
What’s going to be insane is when Michigan is above USC and Oklahoma this week, both of their two losses, with the same record.

And if they're in Ryan Day's head so deep they somehow beat Ohio State again, they'd likely make the playoffs.

It’s hard for me to imagine a team that lost by double digits twice, one of those being by 3 scores, to non playoff teams and getting in. But, a lot of games left and chaos can happen.

I also don't think Michigan beats OSU this year. OSU is giving up just under 5 points a game, Michigan's offense is straight ass. They'll be lucky to cross the 50.
