Good. Maybe Urban Liar can go coach at Michigan. heh. They've got the same "we want to win, we don't care how" mentality.

heard reports that he checked into hospital before the ga game this year. so everyone don't jump on him just yet. it might be health related.

It was easy to see watching him on the sidelines this season that he was not having one ounce of fun.

He found out that it is not much fun winning with THUGS and CRIMINALS. You may win on Saturday, but you are dealing with the courts on Monday.

When Tebow left, that was the end of the only good guy in UF.

Bet my left one that he wishes he would have taken that ND gig. He could have built a nice empire minus the crime.

Oh Urbie, enjoy retirement you jerk.

two things: how long until the recruiting violation accusations come out? and i hear the boise and tcu's coaches are going to interview, but will get snubbed for bcs coaches. take it, i'm here all week!

Easy. That "health issue" wasn't BS. Doctors found he's got an esophagus problem that gives him chest pains similar to a heart attack. Stress has a great deal to do with it. Docs told him (ESPN interview) that they were taking steps to control it better this year. Obviously...

1) the stress and health problems aren't worth it for him

or

2) he realized his spread doesn't work without a superhero at QB

or

3) just wants to kick back and relax. money isn't a problem. watch him take a few years off then go to tv. he can talk.

Is he slimy? Sure. Does he lie to recruits? Yeah. But let's not poke fun at a guy's health issues and wanting to be with his family.

Almost forgot...we should all be thankful that CW was fired last December and not this December.

Weis Fired + Urban Meyer steps down = perfect storm for Brian Kelly. None of us can sit here with 100% confidence and say, "BK definitely would have taken ND over Florida." Just saying...be happy we've got our guy. Because recent history tells us that if coaches line up the ND job with Florida, it ends bad for ND

I agree, I think Notre Dame is still a TOP job for coaches...but it is easier these days to win at a Florida.... at Notre Dame the kids are more than "encouraged" to go to class.

How long do you think it will take Meyer to go full Brett Farve and start sending Tebow pictures of his junk?
