I like watching Dabo lose games.

I know Illinois is not a destination job by any stretch but if Bielema can build that program into a Wisconsin/Iowa type program and do more with less it could make things interesting over there. I have never understood why that program is so bad. One of the best public universities in the country and they can pull talent from Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis. Nothing was even proven that Zook and Locksley were up to shenanigans but that was really the only time anyone was able to recruit there. Northwestern has had more success recently with their admissions standards.

Maybe that program developed a little bit of identity against Penn State. They need a QB bad, though.

I don't know if Franklin going to USC is worth maybe getting Singleton. He's a terrible clutch-time coach but he's absolutely been the best thing to happen to both Vandy and PSU in some time. He'd recruit the hell out of California.

Will he win any big games in California? The only redeeming quality everyone keeps circling back to is he won at Vanderbilt and can recruit. All the QBs in the state are going to the SEC. Recruits know the PAC 12 isn't very relevant right now.
