Ya, this weekend started as a planned football and smoking weekend. Next thing I know, one kid has a party, the other the homecoming dance, and the GF is planning on a Saturday of shopping........But I'll be home by 4 and won't have to leave after that.

Herbie thew out there several time this morning on College Gameday that the issue is these teams are just going thru the motions because they are playing lesser teams. Well, that's the excuse he used for OSU.

In my opinion, the Big Ten is, by far, the worst Power Five conference. The NCAA reminds me of Hollywood, with this group thowing an award dinner for others, so that the others will have an award dinner for them. The conference's weakness really shows the incredible emptiness of the whole "ND needs to join a conference/play 13 games, otherwise it's unfair/they ought to be left out/they have an unfair advantage" argument. The Big Ten is in, only because the cool kids say they're in.

Penn State only beat Army at home by 6. Fordham beat Army at West Point by 2. Home field advantage is a 6 point swing by the bookies so that might as well be like we beat them by 8. Therefore can make the case that Fordham > Penn State to all the PSU fans I know.
