Terrible call. Arizona got hosed on something similar this half though after a 3rd down stop. Led to a Oregon TD as opposed to a ~35 yard field goal attempt. Pretty much the exact same situation here, although this call was worse. Neither should have been called.

Whatever. There's gonna be a bunch of one-loss teams when it's all said and done. I'd certainly rather a one-loss Pac 12 champ make it than FSU, the Okie/Baylor winner (who will have played no one else) and a couple of SEC schools. My concern is that, aside from maybe UCLA, it's going to be hard for any Pac-12 team to make it through without two losses.

Doesn't seem too crazy to me. They're undefeated and beat the #2 team in the country. They had a narrow win over Cal but there's no way Oregon drops too far from #15 or so and Arizona will surely be ranked better than Oregon. It also depends on how this weekends ranked games go but his post seemed to make decent sense to me.

However far voters drop Oregon will determine where Zona ends up in the polls. Because no voter will be able to justify ranking Oregon ahead of Zona after losing at home. I don't see Oregon dropping below #15 at the absolute lowest.

Plus there are 6 games between ranked teams this week, so there will be a lot of room for Zona to rise.

This. Ole Miss is probably going down, one of Miss St./A&M, MSU/Nebraska, LSU/Auburn, etc. Also hopefully Stanford gets knocked off as well. Zona is going to rise far come Sunday.
