I personally will be more hyped for this than last year for USC. I just hope the powers that be learn from last years night game (ie. not dark towels, not repeating the same music over and over again). As much as I hate to say it, Michigan hit a home run with how they organized their night game last year.

At the risk of being labeled a fuddy-duddy, old-fart, ND Nation traditionalist, I agree. Why not dress up the two marching bands with special uniforms to add a little splash? Cargo shorts and Crocs for the "nerd" musicians? How about mini-kilts for The Irish Guard?

Sheesh! Respect the game, respect the rivalry. These two teams have premier standing in the history of college football. No need to gild the lilly.

scUM is going to be ridiculously overrated next season, but ND just won't be good. So I'm guessing another close game where Denard completes some horrible passes that your average third-grader girl could throw and leads Michigan State-Ann Arbor to the win. Sad, but true. Especially with our complete lack of experienced cornerbacks. Also, if Rees starts, he'll put up great stats against Navy and Purdue like he did last year, and won't do enough against MSU to lose his job. So Rees at QB, no cornerbacks, only one good safety (Jamoris), only one LB who is good in pass coverage (Manti) = another loss to those $hitstains.

I agree. But he's the only LB that doesn't get completely turned around on passing plays. Manti's the only LB who isn't a liability in pass coverage. He's not great, but he's solid.

Yeah....couldn't agree more. WE HAD THEM!!! Just like we took our foot off the throats off FSU this year!!!! I sometimes wonder if Kelly lacks that slit their throat mentality it takes to put the dagger in some teams. Sorry if that sounds kinda morbid, i'm just a firm believer if it ain't broke dont fix, finish them sooner rather than later!!! Michigan is the biggest game on the schedule in my opinion, especially given the last three years of heartbreakers!
