Wow real “crime of century” material that is. Ends with 2 acquittals, one guilty plea for editing a single email, and $6.5 million dollars of wasted taxpayer money.

I can’t wait for the investigation of this investigation of another investigation.
It means Obama, the FBI, and probably a lot more knew that Hillary's campaign created a bogus link between Trump and the Russians to try and sway the election. It didn't stop them from impeaching Trump over the hoax and spending millions of tax dollars investigating him for years over said known hoax. The party that cries about protecting democracy has once again shown that they'll do whatever it takes to undermine democracy. Go figure, politicians are all dirty.

I love the "ignore" button. Don't have to listen to people who refuse to acknowledge reality. Can have intelligent exchanges with people who are willing to pursue truth wherever it leads.

“This report does not recommend any wholesale changes in the guidelines and policies that the Department and FBI now have in place to ensure proper conduct and accountability in how counterintelligence activities are carried out,”

Wow absolutely scathing 🙄

Trump and co's hand picked attack dog and this is the best he could come up with?

Because they supposedly changed policy after everything that happened in 2016, that's why they're saying they don't recommend changes in the guidelines. The FBI just tweeted out their "whoopsie" about it and said it shouldn't be a problem going forward...in theory. Doesn't change the fact they knew it was a big hoax before the election, they attacked Trump on that hoax for 4 years (Including the basis of a partisan impeachment), and nobody said anything. Smells like sedition.

Surely Durham must have recommended bringing charges against dozens of people involved with such a sinister plan. Right?

Charges never get levied against anybody at the top, you know better by now. Most of the people involved are out of office, and FBI already said "Our bad, but we've changed!" so it'll get swept under the rug.

How can so much information be out there, from 4 investigations. 3 of them either led by Republicans or had them intimately involved and one from an IG, and you still spout nonsense like this? 😂

Fusion was already doing oppo research on Trump before the Clinton campaign took over paying for it. Literal receipts prove this.

So, your claim that "Hillary's campaign created....sorry, I can't even finish.

If you really believe that you're either really stupid or intellectual dishonest. More nonsense.

This seems to be your “go to” in a number of post. You’re free to disagree, but the highlighted is uncalled for.

It's 100% called for. When people don't have the decency to be honest in their "discussions", I treat them with disdain.

That is my "got to".
That's all he's got, insults. Once they go low you know they've got nothing else.

Is the problem I call out the lies that you guys post?

We were talking about your tendency lately to insult rather than bring solid evidence to back your claim.
Lol, you get on here and parrot some complete and utter bullshit narrative about a Russia hoax that involved Hillary pushing it...I guess?

I referencing 4 investigations that say differently, provide evidence. You ignore the evidence. I call you stupid or dishonest. You focus on the insult and say it's because I don't have evidence.

The fuck is wrong with your brain?

Which of those investigations linked Trump to Russia? The Durham Report showed that the FBI failed to corroborate the Steele dossier allegations. It also showed that the FBI rushed to investigate Trump, they had no evidence of collusion before the probe was launched, they showed bias in their investigation via messages between Strzok and Page, and they had different standards between the Trump and Clinton investigations. The Mueller report found no collusion between Trump and Mueller, the only thing it didn't rule out was obstruction which is unrelated. If you're talking about any congressional investigations those were all partisan shit shows like the impeachments. Again, Clinton, Schiff, Pelosi, and the liberal leaders knew that the whole Russia story was fabricated with flimsy details from the start but that didn't stop them from pushing the rumor.

You list 4 investigations without any other details, and have doubled back to more insults. Thanks for proving my point.

Serious question… what happens if a sitting President is on trial for multiple felonies? Can he just pardon himself? Because this is trending towards him getting indicted. They caught him in 4k admitting he broke the law.

He could be elected while I'm jail I think, just couldn't vote for himself.

I'd imagine it would cost him a few percent at the margins if the Georgia or documents case were ongoing. It might help in the primary, though.

I would imagine there’s some provision to prevent him or any president from doing that. It will be interesting to see if this picks up any steam and how quickly it’s acted upon.

"CNN has not listened to the recording, but multiple sources described it."

JFC - hey Charlie Brown, Lucy isn't going to yank the football - kick it to the moon!

Trump is a bombastic idiot and I would not be surprised if he was waving classified documents around bragging to people. At the same point, after the Russia collusion hoax - release the tape or STFU. And release that J6 footage while you are at it.

This shit has been reported on....extensively.

The FBI probe start before the dossier. It started after an Australian government official heard G11 running his mouth at a bar. Not the dossier.

Here's what the GOP lead Senate Intelligence Committee investigations concluded...

"The findings, including unflinching characterizations of furtive interactions between Trump associates and Russian operatives, echo to a large degree those of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation and appear to repudiate the Republican president’s claims that the FBI had no basis to investigate whether his campaign was conspiring with Russia. Trump has called the Russia investigations a “hoax.”

Among the more striking sections of the report is the committee’s description of the professional relationship between former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Konstantin Kilimnik, whom the committee describes as a Russian intelligence officer.

“Taken as a whole, Manafort’s high-level access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the Russian intelligence services, particularly Kilimnik, represented a grave counterintelligence threat,” the report says.

"The report notes how Manafort shared internal Trump campaign polling data with Kilimnik and says there is “some evidence” Kilimnik may have been connected to Russia’s effort to hack and leak Democratic emails, though that information is redacted. The report also says “two pieces of information” raise the possibility of Manafort’s potential connection to those operations, but what follows is again blacked out."

You ready to discuss this in good faith yet? Or just continue to lie?

I like the part where PBS contradicts those earlier spin comments with these:

The report purposely does not come to a final conclusion, as Mueller did and as the House intelligence committee’s 2018 report did, about whether there is sufficient evidence that Trump’s campaign coordinated with Russia to sway the election to him and away from Clinton, leaving its findings open to partisan interpretation.

Several Republicans on the panel submitted “additional views” to the report, saying it should state more explicitly that Trump’s campaign did not coordinate with Russia. They say that while the report shows the Russian government “inappropriately meddled” in the election, “then-candidate Trump was not complicit.”

Mueller concluded in his report issued last year that Russia interfered in the election through hacking and a covert social media campaign and that the Trump campaign embraced the help and expected to benefit from it. But Mueller did not charge any Trump associates with conspiring with Russians.

The report also delved into areas of great interest to Trump that were not explored by Mueller. Those include the FBI’s reliance on opposition research on Trump’s ties to Russia that was compiled by a former British spy, Christopher Steele, whose work was financed by Democrats.

The committee found the FBI gave Steele’s “allegations unjustified credence” as it relied on the dossier of research to seek court approval to wiretap former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. It says many of the dossier’s allegations remain uncorroborated “nearly four years after Steele delivered the first of these memos.”

A separate investigation by the Justice Department’s inspector general also faulted the FBI for errors and omissions related to the Steele dossier as it sought surveillance warrants.

Rubio said in a statement that the committee was troubled the FBI had been willing to use the dossier “without verifying its methodology or sourcing.”

Based on these statements the Trump team appreciated any help, but once again does not show that they worked directly with the Russians to influence the election. There's also the fact that article is more than 3 years old, there's been additional information that has come out since then. In the end it was not a non-partisan report and both sides had objections to the wording which is why they couldn't come to a consensus.

I'd like to hear the details behind the espionage charges. Could be very interesting.
