At the time when he was the FBI director he was still a republican. Now, I agree he shouldn't be considered one. He's in the crime bill brandon boat for me.
There is a certain class of "republican" who completely abandoned anything conservative because of Trump. As in completely abandon anything GOP related. This tells us they were either 1) republican for job purposes (a GOP guy may hire me) or 2) I go where the wind blows.

Comey falls into one of those camps. He's a liberal version of Adam Kinzinger. Now thats fine. He is entitled to his views. But if you wanna see a "principled Republican" type...you'd point to Bill Barr, or Jeff Flake, or Cory Gardner, etc.

Complete and utter hogwash. You, Cack, Toronto, 41, and the rest of the Beta Boys Socialist Pride Club don't give a flip about threats to democracy, corruption in politics, or criminal politicians. You've long turned a blind eye to much worse in every way from your side, so spare us the phony moral outrage. You just want to gripe about everything on the other side of the political divide and virtue signal to your fellow club members. Give it a rest. Nobody's buying it.
He asked. I answered. You remember everything, so I’m going to assume you remember me telling you multiple times that I’m not a Democrat. In 2016, I didn’t want Trump OR Hillary to become President (I voted for the independent candidate.) When Trump won, I was shocked but I made up my mind to give him a chance. I thought that he might become more presidential, but by about 6pm on the day of his inauguration, I realized this wasn’t going to happen.

I’m just gonna ignore your cradle robbing, height deprived, Confederate ass (you gotta a problem with my use of the Oxford comma?) in the political threads. I was naive to think that we could get along.

Joe Biden's daughter (allegedly) accuses her dad of showering with her. Is that worse than mischaracterizing hush money?

You want the dude executed because of the...Mueller report? Lol what
You have very poor reading comprehension for an attorney.

Not big on calling anyone betas. Respect goes a long way.

Yeah it's a big Andrew Tate type thing, which makes it all the more strange that someone in retirement age thats a bagel boss doppelganger is calling adults "betas".

Agree. Comey did a great job of alienating everyone except the status quo crew.

What’s with the name calling, you fat, bald, short, racist, blowhard, dickhead? Set an example for the children like you are the adult in the room.

Lol so you are telling me...that if Schumer or any Democrat is found to have falsified some business records, you'll want them prosecuted?

This ain't about a porn star. This ain't asking a lawyer to pay her off. This is about Donald Trump. And no, Schumer wouldn't get prosecuted for anything in NY County. Certainly not a felony...you and I could steal several TV's from Best Buy and Alvin would knock it down to a misdemeanor.

The issue here isn't Trump doing something good or bad, the issue is treating him differently because of his name.
Yes. That’s what I’m telling you! He is no different than the people already convicted of the identical crimes. People who break the law should be held to account. Simple.

The Andrew Tate thing is fascinating but I digress. I think we are largely on the same page. Kinda cracks me up.

Nah. Just making a point that the “adult in the room” is the biggest child in the bunch and wanted this to stand out when he starts crying about someone reverting to name calling because they don’t have anything coherent to say.

What name calling are you talking about? Besides, why people criticize you guys for name calling is because all too often when you get completely proven wrong, calling that person an idiot or fascist is ALL you can come up with in reply.

I guess Jeff Sessions didn't oblige? Surprise, Surprise: The DOJ’s Hillary Clinton Investigation Has Been a Bust

I don't think anyone here was arguing for HRC to not be investigated, correct? That's the exact issue though, high profile people get away with insane shit that we'd never have a hope at doing ourselves.

We don't know the exact charges yet. If it turns out to be based in financial crimes then I don't see how anyone can say "oh this is political". You and I would absolutely get thrown in jail for anything that relates to tax fraud and other falsifications. I've seen with my own experiences clients that we've turned down because they are sketchy be thrown into jail, it happens. The smoking gun to all of this was when his own accountants fired him as a client. You don't fire a career making client unless there is serious shit going down.

Ok, and they can do that and it will get litigated in court? I don't see that as a negative. If legit prosecutor thinks its a crime then of course they should indict whoever they see fit. The lawyers that any person on the Barry/Brandon/HRC level scale would hire would find a way out of a weak case.
Speaking of the Politicization of the DOJ. Barr did this among other things like shutting down all the investigations into Trump. He did his job:

Because I want him to rot in a prison cell. I want him held accountable for his 60+ years of criminal behavior. He’s been a criminal, both white and blue collar, virtually his entire life. He used the White House to make billions of dollars for himself and his family, colluded with the biggest enemy of our lifetimes (read the fuckin’ Mueller Report,) and perpetrated an attempted coup on our democracy! If it were up to me, he’d be tried, convicted, and executed on live tv for the world to see.

PS I don’t want to hear any whataboutisms; nobody in American politics has ever done anything close to what he’s done.
I guess you don't realize that going away and fading into oblivion can include prison.

One of the last people I want to hear from is Psaki. Aretha was the Queen of Soul. Psaki is the Queen of Doublespeak.
😂 cmon man these are actual quotes by other people. What are you afraid of? Cyrus Vance said it.Bolton said it. Not Psaki. 😂

So Trump was subpoenaed to turn over all docs. DOJ gets new evidence that he personally went through boxes data after for things he wanted to keep prompting the raid

We used to give my in laws some cash around the Holidays for helping out with the kids, etc. They're not very well off and we know they can use it. Came to find years ago that they send this asswipe money both during the time he was in and out of office, so now it's gift cards for groceries or Walmart instead.

They can do what they want with their money but not with mine. To be brutally honest, if they were sending anyone from either party in DC money I'd have done the same. None of them need a cent from anyone let alone sixtysomethings like my in laws who don't have a pot to piss in.

Isn't it their money once you give it to them? But I get it. I would stop if I found out the same thing.
