I think all of his various accountants all had CPA's, just that they never provided him/his companies with assurance services. Which is a major red flag to any financial institution, but apparently not for DB who's known for their loose lending policies.

The most jokes thing about Trump and his accountant's is that they came out and said that you couldn't rely on their financial disclosures/statements/information they produced for him that provided no assurance. It's essentially like your mechanic changing your wiper fluid and saying they can't say whether the car can turn on.
And then arguing that you should have known better because you know he’s a liar. Lol.

You read up on the audit mill that was handling DJT SEc filings for Truth social?

The court assigned financial monitor for Trump Org keeps having to file reports for glaring issues and financial improprieties lol. But this dude needs to run our country. GTFOH.

Truth Social Media has hired three firms to handle their SEC quarterly filings

The first auditor Withum Smith Brown was hired to audit the companies filings and statements and promptly resigned after just a few months. Not being able to rely on financial statements seems like a huge red flag. lol. They fired the second and the third was BF Borgers a known audit mill who can’t do business in other countries due to past activities. Just 37 days later the SEC shuts them down and charges them with massive accounting fraud.

Mazars has completely severed ties with Trump and Trump org and publically said their previous work/analysis on Trumps accounts is no longer valid due to all the known fraud and false statements provide to them by the Org.

Honestly I don't know how much of having a shitty accounting firm can be placed on DJT, because a lot of the SEC penalties were for shitty record keeping by the acct firm. Of course, if there was a scheme in coordination with DJT to defraud people then yeah that's serious.

Weiselberg was no CPA and testified he wasn’t aware of GAP

Ah, yeah that's a complete lie. You simply cannot be the CFO of a large real estate org and not know GAAP. He literally had to follow GAAP principles every time he produced MD&A reports on rent revenue projections. He knows GAAP>

And then arguing that you should have known better because you know he’s a liar. Lol.

Lol they literally debased themselves publicly, no reputable firm would ever do that for a client.

Listening to the testimony in the tax fraud cases Trump and org knowingly provided incomplete or falsified information to their accountants along with a statement of worthlessness, a “worthless clause” as a CYA for the org. But legally that statement can’t be used to protect them or their accountants in house or private ones. Mazars has publically said they do not stand behind their previous work now that all the fraud has been uncovered.

But they are actual felonies and are actual NY state laws. There are so many canards in this post it’s hard to know where to start. It’s like a Faux News Chiron. lol.

The charges were brought to a GJ which moved forward. They had a trial. The judge applied the law to the charges, instructed the jury and the jury unanimously found him guilty. Everything about this is the process law and order people want. 😂.

All 17 felonies for Trump Org. Are proper.
All 34 felonies against Trump are proper. Other people in The Org went to jail for both tax fraud schemes.

His Non CPA business accountant is serving time for the scheme and more time for more perjury during court testimony. His lawyer who did the crimes on his behalf and at his direction also served time for the same crimes. Other people would have also served but they cooperated.

He is an adjudicated rapist and defamist

He and his family and his umbrella corp are an adjudicated tax fraud scheme

Cope more.

Grand juries rubber stamp charges all the time. Unlike in a trial, it doesn't have to be unanimous.

Grand juries rubber stamp charges because DAs only bring cases before them that they know they have the evidence to prove.

Lord…..I did not see this one coming 🤣

No shit. It’s part of the process. It’s one step in the process you have to go through. The first of many gatekeepers to pass in Our system of law and order. They don’t decide anything other than if there is enough evidence to proceed to the next step. And once that step is taken it’s on to the next one and then the next one and then next one. If after all the steps the defendant is found guilty…. He is guilty unless they win appeals…. Yet another safety valve to use.

It’s not like the GJ says it’s a crime and he is guilty 🤣. There are lotsbof steps to take, motions filed, evidence suppressed or discovered, objections lodged, appeals made…. Even after all these steps he was found guilty of 34 felonies but but the GJ will indict a ham sandwich.

Bob Mendez has already been tried and found guilty in one third the time that Trump has been allowed. And good. Fuck Menendez.

I don't even know what the argument is anymore lmao, just imagine telling them in 2016 they would be full throating a politician who is a convicted felon.....part of the appeal of Trump was to get rid of the corrupt swamp but here they are falling over themselves to support it!!! :ROFLMAO:

It seemed like you wanted to discuss “the law”. Maybe not.

Of course people’s “stances” and opinions of a candidate matter in politics. I get it, a complete dipshit can file to run for and potentially be president based on the minimum qualifications laid out in the constitution. The question then becomes should I or anybody else vote for said person?

Trump had his day in a criminal court and was duly convicted on 34 felony counts by a jury of his peers. He’s also had all kinds of civil penalties levied against him.

We shall see with the additional State and Federal charges he’s facing.

Now if you want to wave that all away with claims of “witch hunts” or whatever and vote for and or continue to defend such a demonstrably lawless, piece of shit knock yourself out.

I will say however, I find it to be pretty strange for anyone who’s all about “the law” to back and or defend a duly convicted criminal who has clearly shown a disregard for the law to be the person responsible for applying and enforcing federal law per the Constitution.

That’s gonna make for a strange conversation with Saint Peter when the time comes. Lol.

Anyhow , I’m glad when Trump, Bob Mendez and any other shit bag politician is held to account for breaking the law.

I think fuck wads like them should get mandatory minimums of 10-20. Seriously fuck those guys.
You can think whatever you want, but you're 0-2. Trump did not incite or participate in an insurrection and the felonies tied to his name won't keep him from the White House if he wins.

Says the person who supported a rapist and molester as president (Clinton), his grifting wife who has made millions in shady deals and is the most corrupt and unlikeable politician in US history, a president who used the DOJ to knowingly and blatantly lie in order to secure a FISA warrant to use against a political opponent and allowed extreme violence and rioting across the country in 2020, and our current president who's sold access and favors to the highest bidder via his bagman son in order to enrich himself and his family, and used the DOJ as his own personal hit squad to harass and lie about political opponents.

GTFO of here with that dishonest hypocritical BS, Cack. You're the poster child for complaining about the speck in someone else's eye and being oblivious to the beam in your own. You rant and rave about dishonest and threats to democracy only if they have an (R) next to their name, then don't have a word to say when a (D) does much worse. You aren't against dishonesty or grift or political corruption or threats to democracy. Those are just buzzwords you're repeating when you can hurl them against those you disagree with, but never against your own side. That makes you intellectually dishonest, low character, and hypocritical.

He has serious issues, no doubt. But he loves his country. He wants his country to be strong. That resonates with people.

And if we are being honest, a not insignificant portion of the Democratic base doesn't seem to have those two things in common.

Also, the Left, as even Bill Maher frequently says, are aggressively anti-common sense. They've swung so far out into the far reaches of nonsense with all the woke ideology that no normal, remotely traditional American with common sense thinks they represent him or her, nor have America's best interests at heart.

As far as Trump's issues, we're all aware of them. I wouldn't want to play golf with him or have him as a neighbor. He's loud, boorish, bombastic, and sometimes childish. However, he pushes policies that are good for the country, align with my views, appoints judges & justices that follow the Constitution, is tough on crime and border security, supports the military and police, and was great for my wallet and investments. I don't have to care what he's like in person. I care about what he gets accomplished.

When have 0 principles and just want to own the Libs and are ruled purely by emotions lol
You guys let your emotions drive your reading comprehension. If you take the time to read my post, you'll see I never said Trump was railroaded. I just pointed out that taking something to the GJ is an easier path to getting an indictment.

Grand juries almost always return an indictment as requested by the prosecutor. According to a U.S. Department of Justice study, "Grand juries are notorious for being ‘rubberstamps' for the prosecutor for virtually all routine criminal matters." (McDonald, William F., Plea Bargaining: Critical Issues and Common Practices (1985).)

We understand exactly what you point is lol. Our point is it’s the first step in the criminal process. Lmao. Going through the GJ is required in most cases to move to the next step in the process. It is the lowest tier of burden of proof. We know this. 😂. It’s not intended to be a step of exoneration.

If you want to proceed to trial after filing charges against a defendant then the next step is to bring it to a GJ show them the evidence and have the judge if it’s enough to move to the next step…. Your point is pointless. Proceeding past a GJ is the lowest bar. Then the bar increases the more steps you take towards closing arguments and finally any appeals.

These aren’t Democratic conspiracies. lol.
Trump was given full access to all the benefits of the legal process (and then some). The prosecutors provide evidence and witnesses. Trump did not testify, was able to cross examine and provided only one witness in his defense which undermined his arguments anyway. In the end he was found guilty unanimously. At this point you either accept the ruling and that he is now a felon and acknowledge you will still vote for him or you or you don’t and still vote for him.

I mean I’m completely unemotional about this. lol.

It seems like a fundamental misunderstanding of the process on his part. Not all states have GJ. Ones that do have them may use them only for certain level and types of crimes. Also it varies state by state like in Ga their GJ process is multi steps. The intent of the GJ is to prevent prosecutorial misconduct and if you can’t pass the low bar or evidence Then the case shouldnt be brought. Like Gattaca said a DA or AG isn’t gonna bring a case to a GJ if they don’t think they can move to the end steps. Let alone bring more cases that they are continuously rebuffed on. This argument that a GJ can indict a ham sandwich is ineffectual IMO.

Yeah, I mean, common sense would dictate that a prosecutorial team would not embarrass themselves in front of a judge/GJ to not be able to meet the low bar and if they did that would show the system is working? If they got through the GJ, then wouldn't the safety blanket of trial stop it? It's financial crimes that I'm pretty sure I could be an expert witness on, which isn't saying much at all if I'm just a common dumbass.

My point is you posted it was just a piece of glass earlier. The counter now is that it was conflicting reports. It just looks convenient to say this misinformation/conspiracy was just “conflicting reports”. I just find it amusingly funny.

I guess it's the comprehension that you missed.

Since you missed it and for clarification. You don't have to go to a GJ to get an indictment, but it is an easier path. That was my point. Nothing more, nothing less.

And as I have posted before, yet you seem to forget, Trump was found guilty. I don't have a problem accepting the verdict.
