Something something lawfare
There isn't.Instead we are left with the impression that there is no guiding strategy
At last check, you can't "fire" a president.,...and it's even MORE insane that you can't just assign blame to the guy whose fault this is...Donald Trump's. He is the the biggest issue here since it was his idea and he is the biggest vector of shit messaging on this. All the links above are from the past three days.Someone should probably be fired.
Oh, so he lied.Yeah, they're not down 93%
I think I'd be more willing to see how it plays out and "let Trump play the long game" if we even had the smallest sense that there was some kind of strategy.
The way this whole thing has been communicated to the American public has been brutal. Someone should probably be fired. Instead we are left with the impression that there is no guiding strategy and instead we are left with pure chaos.

They kept the family together. You would bitch about family separation had it gone the other way. Fixing the democrats deliberate border invasion has hard choices. Easier if you just don’t open the floodgates.“the Trump administration deported a two-year-old U.S. citizen to Honduras with “no meaningful process,” even as the child’s father was frantically petitioning the courts to keep her in the country.”

Judge says 2-year-old US citizen appears to have been deported with ‘no meaningful process’ — POLITICO
The girl was deported Friday with her mother to Honduras, despite her father’s efforts to keep her in the United States.apple.news

Oh boy. Deporting US Citizens with no due process is a “hard choice”. That’s idiotic. They kept the family together. You would bitch about family separation had it gone the other way. Fixing the democrats deliberate border invasion has hard choices. Easier if you just don’t open the floodgates.
A visual, if you will.
Bluto when millions of unverified people cross the border-

Nice deflection. If only some of you had been this worked up and concerned when they were coming here illegally with no thought of due process or regard for our laws.
We tried for years to have a serious discussion about this and people like you refused to do anything to stop the mass invasion. In fact, you strongly supported the politicians who openly encouraged and incentivized millions coming here illegally. You didn't want the invasion stopped nor the problem addressed when it was being created, so STFU now about it finally getting solved. Nobody cares what you think about it. In fact, the more you dislike the way it's now being solved, the better the rest of us like it. Your hypocrisy and "America last" attitude have a cost.Nice deflection.
What you are complaining about is exactly what the bipartisan immigration bill that Trump squashed was seeking to do. So yet again that incompetent dickhead who is currently the POTUS takes center stage.
If one wanted to have a serious discussion about this (seems unlikely) they might want to also consider some of what drives immigration in the first place and how US foreign policy helps create the conditions that make people want to flee their countries en masse and might allow them to have a legitimate asylum claim based on the current legal framework.
For example, if one wants to see immigration from say Cuba and or Venezuela drop they might want to consider lifting the sanctions on both those countries and moving towards normalizing relations. But alas, blah, blah, blah…socialism! Let’s attempt a coup!
That bill was an excuse. How convenient that you were born after 100 executive orders to open the border and lawsuits to prevent border enforcement. We didn't need a stupid bill, we needed an administration that wasn't inept.Nice deflection.

I see. Apparently you care enough about what I think to respond to my post so yeah you can’t even get that right. We tried for years to have a serious discussion about this and people like you refused to do anything to stop the mass invasion. You would bitch about the separation from the mother the other way around. If you don't want to have these sticky positions, don't deliberately flood the country like an idiot. Also, it appears that this girls father is still in the US so it looks like that idiot Drayers assertion about not “separating the family” is inaccurate, which is not surprising.
