Waiting to hear how this is bad. They prob wanted them to do a land acknowledgement before the raid.

Why would it be bad? The Mexican government has been at war with the cartels for a couple years now. They regularly capture cartel members. They have lost 100s of soldiers in battles the last year.

Not a leftist but the tariffs haven’t gone into effect so unable to see the affects.

Mexico agreed to pull 10k troops which I assume some or most we're combating the cartels to guard a 2000 mile long boarder.

It was never about actually imposing tariffs. It was about threatening to in order to get a change in behavior. Worked against Colombia, then Panama, and now Mexico. Canada will fall in line shortly. The fact that most of our resident lefties in here were screaming about how it would cripple our economy and hurt the average Americans shows how little they know about any of this... and they won't learn a thing from it. By tomorrow the same ones will be crying, "The sky is falling! The sky is falling!!!" about something else they don't understand.

Is that the only thing MX agreed too? Sending some troops to the boarder? I'm not sure how affective that will be with stopping drugs, probably will be more affective with stoping some of the migrants crossing.

Do you think drugs walk across on their own?

The longest part will be you posting the same tired shit every single time someone disagrees with you.
Nah, just having a laugh at the constant, crying, spluttering, frustrated meltdowns from the losing side. We don't want you to stop. It's funny to watch the hysterical, irrational tantrums over made-up nonsense and things you don't understand. It has a purple haired "I'm so scared that I'm moving to Canada" or Selena Gomez bawling vibe to it. It's glorious! By all means, keep going!

You can't even let this go into effect before declaring it will be a failure?

It's just the initial thing they agreed to in order to avoid the tariffs. Negotiations are set to continue later this week.

I didn't say failure. But we must put our faith into the Mexican government/ military all of a sudden.

I also asked if that was the only thing agreed to for dropping tariffs?

Technically you didn't. Your post implied it IMO.

With the agreement, I'd say starting now, you have to at least put some faith in Mexico. They weren't getting any pressure from Joe or Kamala to do anything, but now they are.

Tariffs have never worked in modern times. Look at GwB did with the steel tariffs, horrible failure.

So, is 43 pounds of fentanyl worth roughly $31M in street terms. Trump put tariffs that lead to retaliatory measures costing $7.5B, so that's ~$175M per pound that was seized in 2023. So basically he paid 240x the market rate if these tariffs stop all fentanyl.

Masterful gambit Mr. President! Those dumb lefties are so emotional and can't quantify what an extreme win this is!

Fucking brain dead to support this. Of course the Canadian dollar is tanking, the US dwarfs the Canadian economy exponentially, but spending 240x the cost should be something rational people would take issue with but I know IE MAGA can't and won't say that.

Some of the members of Trump’s landing team present for the initial transition meetings are now working at the Treasury Department.

Among them is Baris Akis, a Musk ally who is the co-founder of a venture capital firm, Human Capital. Akis’ presence raised alarms among some of the Treasury officials present for those early meetings, since he was not an official member of the incoming Trump administration and didn’t have a security clearance at the time, the sources told CNN.

Akis, along with a few others affiliated with Musk’s DOGE, has been in the Treasury building in recent days. Sources familiar with the department tell CNN they “rove around as a pack” — emphasizing how the group is working in the building in a way that is separate from the rest of the department’s staff.
It seems rather odd, and concerning, that this Turkish fucker with no security clearance who has no real role in the administration is wandering around with a bunch of literal teenaged incels gaining access to our social security numbers, Medicare, etc.

Pretend it's Soros and some weirdos who answer to him running around downloading shit onto private servers for a moment. Okay, go. Tell me why this isn't bad.

Wait until DOGE looks under the hood at FEMA and DoD. Shits really gonna hit the fan in Deep State when that corruption/pay outs are exposed.

Was the plan implemented? Not saying if it was or wasn’t but I doubt we’re just getting hood winked and if so it may not be good for them.

Ahh, but the threat of them sure works well when used correctly. Colombia, Panama, Mexico and Canada all fell in line almost immediately. So much for them destroying free trade and hurting the American consumer, eh?
