Blinken to Rubio may have been the single biggest upgrade in the last century. Thanks for sharing from Rupar so I knew it was going to be a Ruparded take.Little Marco handling these questions very well
They live on stolen land. We couldn't have possibly broken the rules. Why do people keep calling this an invasion of Venezuela? We just visited without documentation.
How many boots are on the ground right now?Fake news (not the issue ... and everybody knows it.)
Running our military into governing a foreign country is the issue.
SERIOUS stuff. Dump the effing politics. Nobody should want "boots on the ground in Venezuela."
So wtf was the point?
I get that, but what was the point of the US going in and taking him out if we didn't have a plan in place for transfer of power? She is Maduro's sidekick so this isn't surprising. They don't want to see his regime go bye bye.
what says the US didn’t have a plan? Just because the vice steps in as an interim doesn’t mean they don’t have a plan. Did you expect a PowerPoint from HR on the process going forward? If she’s still there a year from now, this is different. It’s been a few days. Elections aren’t that quick.I get that, but what was the point of the US going in and taking him out if we didn't have a plan in place for transfer of power?
More elections from the same administration, sounds promising. I was just wondering how our taxes would be spent in Venezuelawhat says the US didn’t have a plan? My assumption is that the US is negotiating with the current regime on next steps. Hard to argue next steps before you sweep in and capture Maduro.More elections from the same administration, sounds promising. I was just wondering how our taxes would be spent in Venezuela
Why? This doesn't help us at all.
I don’t think they want to take it by force. Forecfully taking allied land is a pretty wild territory, but working to get a sale is not crazy. I think they believe that land is critical for defense going forward and are aggressively trying to get an allied nation to recognize they don’t have the resources to maintain their land and do what is needed. If however, this was some sort of trial run for a Greenland takeover with the military, I don’t see how that can be supported. While Drayer, you are absolutely right that the land provides benefits to the US, why is it morally or pragmatically acceptable to obtain it, by force, when it is already owned by a peaceful sovereign nation, especially one of our allies?
We already have 1 "base" in Greenland, I doubt they would be opposed of a larger baseHuh-Let's see, how about a land lease? Build a NATO/US Naval base + Airfield?

The damage is done, he should be asking for them to release/sell their rental home inventory as wellCan’t wait for the Democrats to side with corporations in their reflexive methodology to oppose Trump-
I’ve wanted this for a long time. Investors have been trying to push away the norm of owning homes and driving lower priced homes to become rentals for years. It’s priced people out at the bottom because of the scale it is happening. Do it.

Those won’t stay with the institutional lenders forever, which is why the damage is not done. Again, reflexive opposition. The damage is done, he should be asking for them to release/sell their rental home inventory as well
