So I just caught on the ticker on ESPN that according to the trainer of I'll Have Another, that he won't be racing in the Belmont Stakes. Looks like we're going to have to wait another year for a possible triple crown winner. Very unfortunate.

NBC must feel like someone who just lost a lottery ticket. Nobody will be watching, except for those that don't hear the news today.

That's too bad. But I'll be watching. I haven't missed watching a Belmont since 1992.

I'm actually happy about this. I've been to Belmont the last seven years, but this year I am away on vacation. If I had missed a horse winning the triple crown I'd be UPSET.

Haha. I know exactly what you mean. I really pull for a Triple Crown the years I attend one of the Triple Crown races, but part of me hopes against it when I don't attend.

I really thought this one had a chance. The way he handled the other 2 legs of the Triple Crown, I thought he showed that he was the strongest and would have handled the distance. Too bad we will never know.

It's disappointing, but I can't help wondering if this has something to do with the trainer's upcoming suspension, due to "milkshaking". I'm not much into conspiracy theories, but I wonder.

By the way, this is my first post. Glad to be here.
