I don’t think distance was the problem. Low fieldable punts that didn’t allow coverage to get there in time.

I don't know if he'd be better or worse than what they had, but I'm pretty sure he'd be better than what they currently have (Matt Salerno's younger brother is the only P on the roster, although the old guy Goins can punt, too).

Should've offered Roger Rosengarten a bag to hit the portal after DeBoer left and pitched to him that he could be a 1st rounder with another year. He ended up going really late in the 2nd round.
