On Secrant a UGA fan said that there are 3-4 guys ahead of him at the same position. My guess is it's a combination of that and wanting a better NIL deal.Maybe Singletary's just chasing a better NIL deal but these elite recruits who bail on a program after one semester on campus baffle me. Did he expect to walk in and start on THAT defense? Conversely, does he really not see a path on to the field in the next year or two? And long-term, does he think NIL U will develop him better for Sundays than Georgia?
Have a little patience, my dude.
Dad played at Mater Dei and Washington State. He was a member of the ‘97 championship team. I’ve no idea how he ended up in Greenwood, Indiana.Kid has the bloodline to be a great player. Wonder if he ends up at IU?

It’s pretty hilarious to see Wisconsin fans celebrate Green and Williams like they just discovered the forward pass is possible lol
I’m curious what happens when the OC realizes what he signed up for with playing football in Wisconsin in November.Wait til they find out the new OC does not need 7 fullbacks on the roster

Yeah, looks like he will grow into a Safety and has good size and speed to cover the field.Davison was a guy I really wanted them to get involved with late last cycle. I haven't tracked him at all since though that article reads like he had a solid Freshman season.
But, after Harper committed it sounded like the staff was full on S's. However, who knows, maybe that was just for 1 year rental S's. Would it be a different story for a guy with 3 years of eligibility?
kid is WR1 more or less on a national championship team and hes leaving for NIL Money (has a newborn child and wants to be closer - Dallas TX) and now hes being linked to Oregon lol
I'm sure ND fans would be able to navigate this kind of situation just fine.

Man! How many times has this kid hit the TP in his short 3-year CFB career? Arik Gilbert 247 Sports
its just like in NCAA football video game when you make promises to recruits and then dont bother to honour any of them

Healthy perspective. I agree. I hope the numbers balance out in similar fashion in the future, too. From that article: "Power 5 teams have lost an average of 12.5 players to the portal so far during this 2022-23 transfer cycle."
When you put it that way, and look at some of the top-end players who are just shopping themselves around nationally, it's striking how few guys we have lost.
Pyne. Bellamy. Berrong. Ekwonu. Lacey. Joe Wilkins. Pietsch. That's it. Of those only Lacey really feels like a loss. (Pyne did in the moment but only b/c the bowl game and that turned out fine). And we've brought in four starter-caliber grad transfers.
I know, I know, there's some theoretical wave of departures coming, including a few "surprises." (I guess in May?). But so far, we're actually kinda winning in the Portal. Which feels pretty good.
