Bo Nix is an atrocious quarterback. In no universe would that make sense

Armstrong claims he's not a transfer candidate:

Bummer. He's one of the few I would have been excited about.

What a f*%$ing waste. If I had athletic potential and dreams of the NFL, you better believe I'd grad-transfer out in a jiffy.

I have a feeling Pyne is going to see some action next season and I'm sure he'll be ready and prepared when that time comes. Give me some McGregor walking please.

He looked pretty good in relief against Wisconsin, and not great (though still better than Coan) against Cinci. But the steadfast refusal of our staff to play him after that leads to me believe: (1) he only looked good to us because opposing teams had no tape on him; (2) he gets picked off all the time in practice; and (3) they knew that if Pyne started getting more snaps, his predictability would become a major liability.

I hope you're right, because we're probably gonna need him. But the staff clearly has no faith in his ability to win football games for us.

They have no faith he could start for us in 2021. I bet he comes in relief or in a timeshare with Buchner if Tyler doesn't progress enough by the fall. Well....that or we get a transfer QB who lights the world on fire with an Irish match.

Where's 2022's Russell Wilson? ND should look super attractive to any 5Y Senior QB looking to improve his draft stock.

What’s going on with Elias Ricks? Saw rumors both OSU and Bama supposedly pulled their offers, and some OSU players threatening to transfer if they took him

Hearing rumbles on twitter of Bo Nix to Notre Dame in the transfer portal!? Anyone hear anything substantial?

Smart move on his part. Football is clearly not his future so he'll have a nice graduate degree to fall back on.

Bobo allegedly headed to UCLA, so cross that WR option off the list.

With their recruiting history compared to this years class, I'm thinking they started drilling a few new wells. Jimbo doesn't suddenly turn into this great orator who can spin some magical prose and convince them College Station is this magical place.

Its the age old nouveau riche buying their way into the country club and then showing up with water pistols and booming subwoofers. Wait that almost sounded cool. No its more like a hooker with a penis and a blowout

He basically admitted it's the money. He also said something like "We used to pay players. We still do, but we used to, too." They aren't shying away from it down there. Why would they? It's basically all above board now as long as the offer is coming from a booster not the school.

I don't know if they care about breaking the rules. But if they do, all Jimbo has say is, "I can't promise you an NIL deal, but Bobby could and he's waiting outside. I'll let you guys talk and see if you can work something out."

No set of rules and regs is going to slow this down. It's over.

LSU QB Myles Brennan has removed his name from the Transfer Portal and will return to LSU.

Hard to disagree. I would just focus on restricting transfers. Feels like a lot of coaches and institutions will agree on this one and it's far easier to enforce the transfer rules than it is to stop money from changing hands.

I think you have to split the FBS. I don't think there is a way to co-exist with the most aggressive programs.

I expect the B1G will be the big obstacle to this. They will try to keep a foot in both spaces and their revenue will probably have the rest of the Alliance, the Big 12, and the G5 clinging to them.
