No he's not. He's in the perfect shape for a Nosetackle...

That shape would be round.

And he's fast as hell for a man his size. I'd really like to see how many posters who criticize him have ever seen Nix play live instead of on the TV. He has amazing speed for a man his size. People should be enjoying this while it lasts.

Nix isn't out of shape. Kelly has repeatedly talked about how his play volume has improved, though he is probably playing too much this year. Wish we had more D-line depth to give him a breather more.

True.

Didn't he just play something like 70 snaps against Oklahoma?

Dude. Knock it off. Your "I'm nervous about (fill in the blank)" act is getting old. We could play Charleston Southern next week and you'd say you're nervous.

You're right I would be. If we lose or play a close game against a team like that we would be panned and it would be bad. Being nervous about playing our biggest rival should be normal. Especially seeing how with every team that we beat except
Temple the game has been a close one that could've gone either way. Sorry if it bothers you but until I see us start constantly blowing out inferior teams in will be nervous before every game. Not saying we have not chance to win but I am saying I'm gonna have major butterflies as is and especially in a game against our nemesis where if they somehow beat is it will suck even more because they aren't as good as previous years.

Beating usc when they are a down program who just lost a head coach means nothing. Sure its a win. But would you go around bragging you beat up Muhammad Ali in the condition he is today? USC doesnt have any where near the status as they did back with Pete Carrol.
Uh did you see the squads we fielded during the Pistol Pete era? That never stopped USC from bragging and feeling good about beating their rival.

USC counted all the wins over two decades of mediocre coaching.

Holtz didn't give any wins back for beating the likes of Tollner during his win streak!

I never said give back wins or feel bad for them. I hate usc although I know they are a junk team. It should be a blow out but it wont, because its a rivalry and that automatically turns junk programs into top bcs teams in the minds of some here. Beating a junk usc team wont make up for the bush push.
