i'm not the brightest person in the world but i have a neighbor who just made seem more smarter today, thi neighbor lady lives a couple of houses across the street and only walks her dog a few houses down both ways just to let it do its thing on others lawn and i've jumped her before but anyway caught her with her dog on my yard this morning and told her to get it off and she then flipped me off and told me that i'm an ass and such a hateful person when all i'm doing is protecting my own yard from trespassers again i'm not the brightest but some people can be such idiots

Don’t have a dog if you don’t have your own yard or willing to take it to a park. Don’t ride a bike unless you have your own land or willing to take it to the park. My lawn is not your bad pet plans toilet and streets are for cars not spandex jags asking for death.

I went to Orlando in August for work and some woman in her late 30’s was walking with her service dog and it shit in the floor. She kept on walk and the airport cleaning staff had to clean it up. People are just inconsiderate.

Buy a hog. Feed it all the corn & molasses it will eat and plenty of water. The next day, walk it for hours up and down the street right in front of her house and let it use her yard to recycle the corn and molasses. When she complains, flip her off. 🐖💩

Get a lawn chair and a cooler full of beer and set up on her front lawn with a blue tooth speaker loaded with 80s hair metal classics. Proceed to chillax in epic fashion, When the See You Next Tuesday neighbor objects, flip her off and tell her how hateful she is acting. Bonus points if you can borrow a neighbor's dog to fecally decorate her yard. Also, have a lawyer on speed dial as the situation could get litigious since you are technically trespassing. But I think a well-worded GoFundMe campaign will help offset the legal expense.

Sometimes it's funny to just laugh at idiots doing idiot stuff. I was on the Interstate last week and the other side was shut down for a few miles due to them repaving it. They'd removed all the old concrete, prepped the underlying bed, and had poured a few sections of the new pavement, which is about 11 inches of reinforced concrete that looks like this:

concrete-slab-thickness1.jpg

I noticed a car on the other side stopped on a section of this new concrete and two teens were walking around the car. The driver's side front wheel bent out at a weird angle, the front of his car was all the way down to the pavement, his other front wheel was about 100 feet behind him, and there was a pool of liquid all around his car and in a long streak behind him. Then it dawned on me: HE WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE, WHICH WAS CLOSED! Idiot kid went around the barriers, drove down the prepped bed of gravel at probably about 60 mph, and slammed into the almost foot high slab of new concrete. Absolutely obliterated his front end, suspension, radiator, oil pan, tranny, and rear suspension. Holy cow, that must've been loud and a hell of a rough ride!

Did you ask her why she doesn't walk her dog in her yard?

Several years ago some dude did that when they were redoing the highway in Indy. It wasn't finished curing and destroyed the paving. The dude was held accountable for the cost to tear out and repair.

You have to replace 3 current ND starters with Shaq, Lebron, Yao Ming. Go…
Well the easy way would be to pick players from the basketball team.

But since I think you mean football starters:
Shaq goes in for Knapp. Shaq lacks the mobility, but strong base and reach can keep pass rushers at bay for a moment.
Yao Ming goes in for Oben. Strong in run defense, but no pass rush still. Good length to deflect passes, also field goal blocker
Lebron goes in at one of the WR spots, doesn't matter who goes out.

Did you live?
I live in Florida but went up to DC for the Marine Corps Marathon. It was hell training in Florida this summer but very flat. The MCM doesn't even have that much incline but what little of it there was was infinitely more hills than I ran in Florida. I'm definitely glad I did it but will most likely never run another again. Although when I ran the Holy Half at ND like six years ago I told myself I would never do a half again and certainly never do a full marathon. So who knows maybe I'll be doing ultras in six years from now

Good for you man. Running to the beer fridge out in the garage and back during ND game commercials gets me out of breath these days. 😆

Running is just too hard on your joints and most runners end up in constant pain later in life. That being said, completing a marathon is an incredible accomplishment. Congratulations.

Damn man, good for you. Congrats!! I did my first half in 2022, and I thought it was hard training in the summer in MI. Can't even imagine training in FL. I hate treadmills, LOATHE them, so idk if I'd even be able to do it.

I also said I'd never run a full after completing my half, but two years removed, I kind of want to try it. I miss the grind of training. Was never in better shape. I always hated the long training runs when they were looming over me the day of, but loved the feeling of accomplishment when I did 10+ miles.

Congratulations again man, that's an amazing accomplishment.
