Read the novella, didn't even know there was a movie! That book had three novellas turned into major motion pictures; can you name the book and movie titles of the other two without looking?

And as a trivia question, like, what Steven King novella was pulled out of circulation in future printings. I believe Apt Pupil was retired voluntarily by King after Columbine.

Was "Hearts in Atlantis" one of them? I read almost all of King's stuff, so it all kind of blurs together. Funny, he used to be one of my favorite authors, but I haven't read one of his books in probably 7-8 years. I can't even really say why I lost interest.

The Body, became Stand by Me; Goodbye Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption became the best movie of the year, in many people's opinion.

OMM might appreciate this. A seismograph in Blacksburg detected a VT football game:

Now there's a pic worthy of promoting artificial "turf!"

I saw a $1 electronic blackjack table in Atlantic City. The minimum bet was $5. So doesn't that make it a $5 table?

This thread deserves a bump purely for this video. Inspiring to see what youthful optimism and imagination can turn into with the love and support of good parents.

Not sure where to put this but I'm starting the application process and of the schools on my list I really like Indiana University. I know IE has a few IU fans and I was wondering if any of you can recommend a forum similar to IE for them? For basketball or football, I'd like to get to know both programs at IU better.

Thanks in advance

When it's really humid and I'm working outside, I think I need to start wearing boxers.

I drive a lot for work, so if I'm going to be in the car for more than an hour I nix the boxer briefs, its just the right thing to do.

Amazing how being off by one letter on the keyboard can change things to real creepy.

God I hope you were off by a letter :)

Indeed. I prefer to think "cat" as in a large piece of Caterpillar earth moving equipment. Either that or this has something to do with being a cabby rather than "in" a tabby ...
