I do care if we go 1-11 this year, but I share the same hate for U of M. I live in Michigan and have to see their faces daily. I would take a loss to about any one of the other teams on our schedule, even the crappiest, as long as we kick their ***. **** MICHIGAN.

I'd care a lot if we went 1-11, but there's no other team I want to beat more by a good margin. The ways that we've lost to them the past three years have just been excruciating. Last year was especially painful. After the previous two years, I wanted a win so badly...and we essentially dominated them for the first few quarters and then...I don't want to think about it any longer.

Ugh. I actually caught a replay of the game on ESPNU or the Big Ten Network or whatever and watched the first half or so before turning it off to avoid re-witnessing the collapse. We were such a better team that night than they were. I still cannot fathom how that game was lost.

Living in Michigan, there would be nothing better than beating Michigan, but to tell the truth, Michigan State fans are almost becoming worse than U of M fans to deal with. I pray we beat both teams.

Living in Southern California makes it tough to want anything more than a ND win over USC. USC fans are truly, truly terrible. They don't know anything about their team, they don't even know what their record was last season, they just know USC is supposed to be good so they start talking trash, blah blah blah Matt Barkley. They don't know a single player on their team except Barkley and maaaaaaaybe Lee or Woods. Also, they don't have any appreciation or respect for ND as an institution or football program. As much as I want ND to beat USC I wouldn't want ND to play them if they weren't as highly regarded and important as they are. USC fans do not see it that way.
