Un-freaking-real. Can you imagine how this team would look if they had drafted literally ANYONE but Bennett?

out of high school and did well at UNLV so it's not like the pick was totally insane), but this was his ppg as the season went on: This is tough to say. It was an awful draft for forwards.
They took Bennett (4.2 ppg), but the next forward taken, Otto Porter, averaged 2.1ppg this season.
I'm not saying Bennett will amount to anything (although he was aout of high school and did well at UNLV so it's not like the pick was totally insane), but this was his ppg as the season went on:
Oct: 2.0
Nov: 2.2
Dec: 3.0
Jan: 3.6
Feb: 7.2
Mar: 5.0
Apr: 7.0
So, progress. If he develops into a stud, great. If he doesn't, oh well.
So who do they take? Wiggins? Parker? Embiid?
Rigged.
Thought about that. However if it were rigged the. Lakers would have the number 1 pick.
I completely stopped paying attention to basketball back in January. What is up with Waiters and Irving at this point?
So this Cav's team with the guy they have said for years is as good or better than Jordan (HOLY SHIT!) is now 5-5 with the Spurs just beating them by 2. LeBron is No Jordan! Does anyone still think he wasn't Trophy shopping?

The problem isn't that the Cavs have been losing games. They have a major deficiency in defense. Before yesterday's game, they ranked somewhere in the mid-20s in most defensive rankings. Lebron, Kyrie, K Love make a great offensive Big 3. However, the latter two are sieves on defense. Cleveland has a legitimate problem, because a team will not win without a competent defense. I believe that the historic magic number is 12. So if Lebron and Co. can somehow manage a top 12 defense, they're legit title contenders. If not, then their odds drop dramatically.

They have played 10 games. A legitimate problem would be lack of defense in 72 games from now. The Cavs have improved dramatically from two weeks ago and will only get better.
I do agree that the defense does need to get better, but comes in line with finding a productive shooting guard. Harris is a rookie and he needs time. Delladova is a point guard that doesnt score, or play great defense. He is an effort player but has literally no stats that show effort. Marion is playing his role well. They need Dion Waiters to buy-in on both sides of the court and accept his role. So far, that hasnt been the case. Waiters has value so im sure that the Cavs will be on the phones shortly the way its going.
Acquiring Corey Brewer would be a great move for the Cavs.
The entire city of Cleveland was built on multiple Native American burial grounds and gypsy curses. The burning river was an omen.Ok, can we rehash this rediculous situation? I almost feel there might be a cause to throw a Cleveland thread out there an see what lands. This crap about The Browns,The Cavs deserve not the coach of the future; the coach of now tells me there's more than meets the eye.
What has been going on in the 'Dog Pound' for the past 20 years? Who did they piss off?
