I love live music. I decided to go to college so I could get paid more... so I could go to more concerts.

What do you guys think is the 'Best Show Ever.' ?

This is mine. I wish I was born a few years before my birthday so I could have been there.

The Intro fucking kills me. Bill Graham introducing the Grateful Dead after 2 years off. They wrote a new album, and their shit is on fire.

Some people say that's the drummer from 1981.

His name is Ron.

Ron Fishman.

He's really good.

Bonnaroo was cool, man.

I went to the first one.

Pink Floyd - The Wall
MANY -" Day on the Green " concerts in Oakland Ca.( Zeppelin, The Dead, The Stones, AC/DC etc.)

It's like picking a favorite song....almost impossible. Lots of good times at concerts.

I never expected to enjoy Elton John's concert as much as I did. He could rock back in the day.

On a side note: I was lucky enough to meet Jerry Garcia when I was a kid. Cool guy.

Was lucky enough to be growing up in London in the 70s. Cream farewell concert in Albert Hall, Stones in the Park, Bob Marley recording No Woman live, Jimi at Isle of White and Lynyrd at Knebworth. Some days, some bands.

Best show I have seen was definitely Roger Waters The Wall. Best ever? I dont know Monterey Pop Festival, Woodstock, Bob Marley in Africa, James Brown at the Apollo...there have been tons of amazing shows over many years impossible to pick.

Queen at Live Aid in Wembeley Stadium 1985

Watch out, the Queen haters are gonna come after you! I agree, I have this concert on DVD and I wish I could have been there. Queen had a reputation for putting on great live shows, would have loved to see one when Freddie was still alive.

The best show I've seen in person was an Aerosmith concert sometime around the mid or early 2000s. It's when they released that blues album. They only did a few songs from the album, most of the show was the old stuff. It was pretty sweet. At one point Steven Tyler hooked his foot through a noose that ran to the rafters of the venue and he swung upside down out into the crowd...crazy. I didn't think he did that anymore. The dude was almost 60 by that point, and the group put on a hell of a show.

I'm in my early 30's...so I really must say that I've been dead or a toddler for the few events I could ever say were the best concerts ever.

But the best concert I've personally ever gone to...now this is not best MUSICALLY...I'm saying best energy...crowd participation...not really sure what my rubric is.

But Pantera in 3/6/2001
The band was falling apart at that time, but somehow they took their rage and anger towards one another and devastated the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh.

We got stuck in a blizzard getting to the show. Made it just as the band started on their first song. Missed all of the openers...but that was fine with us. The snow didn't stop, so we got a cheap hotel room for 5 of us and trashed it on our way out of town the next morning.

That was a crazy night.

One of my favorite concert moments was seeing Danzig and Metallica. Glenn took the stage and sang "Green Hell" and "Last Caress" while Metallica played it. Being a huge Misfits and Metallica fan, it was a great moment.

Another really cool show was the Ramones in 1993 at the Riviera in Chicago. Best crowd I've ever seen. It was half young punkers, and half guys in business suits that were punkers years before. Really neat mixture.

I saw Lenny Kravitz open for Aerosmith years ago... Aerosmith was good and all... But Lenny was easily the best live act I've seen. He was impressive.

I really want to see JJ Grey, my kind of music, but he rarely comes to the west coast.

Also, got to love Randy Watson and Sexual Chocolate.

The Grateful Dead, at Shoreline Amphitheater in 1992, was a great show. I will never forget my first concert; Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on their Southern Accents tour. So many good shows... I saw this group named "Pearl Jam", at the Ventura theater in Ventura, CA. I had never heard of them, and loved the show. About a week later, KLOS radio announced that they had released a debut album titled "Ten". The BoDeans usually put on great shows. I also will never forget seeing Springsteen(Born in the USA tour), with 80,000 of my closest friends, at Municipal Stadium in Cleveland, OH.
