Where are the fake insiders who tell us every player is amazing and perfect and every coach is a genius? It was fun to have them blow sunshine up our asses this off-season but I want to hear from them now.

Who would've thought that board members on here would be better journalists than our own beat reporters?

I wonder what it would cost to get Price back next year. Probably not in the cards since he already had an achilles, but man I'm afraid of what that drop off is going to look like next year
Oh he and Carr are gone they want to win championships they aren’t moved by the bullshit “BuT tHeY wILl GrAdUaTe” bullshit

It’s not the end of the world going 0-2 against two teams who will both be top 15 by end of year. I think this is probally an 8-4 team. Let’s start with the good.
-Carr is the big positive I think we have our QB for the future we just need to get some stud WR’s around him.
-I’m not on the fire Ash fence yet. His defense held up pretty well in the second half. He arguably couldn’t have picked a harder two offensive teams to plan for. Miami and A&M both have top 5 OL’s and will have top 10 offenses by end of year.
-Price and Love both played their asses off

Here’s the bad:
-The DL was supposed to be a big positive this year and we had zero sacks tonight. Young has not been playing great, Boubacar is not consistent. Where has Josh Burnham been? Did Bothelo play?
- OL played better tonight gut god we need Jagusah back
-Why isn’t Asa playing on 3rd down?
- How do we have the best freshman DB class in 20 years yet none of them are good enough to play big minutes
- Williams barely plays yet so we are gonna burn another year of his egibilty?

Going forward I’d say we can still sneek in the playoffs by winning out but we are gonna need Miami and A&M to keep winning and hopefully some other teams become ranked. Gotta start getting these younger guys meaningful reps, you got your QB time to start developing younger guys to set you up for next year

What else do you want CJ to do? Both games he got the ball back after his defense gave up the lead with no time left in an impossible position. He has not been the problem and has arguably been the only bright spot other than Malachi Fields
Yeah, I mean I have no idea what people want the offense and CJ Carr to do. We legit scored 40+ points tonight. The OL was actually not terrible, and Carr once again proved he's the least of our concerns.

The offense is only gonna get better as Carr gets more reps. He looked a bit shaky in the first half with several high throws, but still made several plays with his arm. I thought he really came into his own in the second half and commanded the go-ahead drive beautifully. He is going to be really, really good. Potentially great. The WRs are good enough and the run game will be fine.

I don't have much good to say about the defense. Ash brought in his scheme and implemented it despite not having the personnel to do it. We had a lot of confusion out there throughout the game, especially on the last drive. That is unacceptable by any measure. The results got better in the second half, but I think that was as much Aggy's miscues as our guys making stops. How many open guys did Reed miss in the second half that he wasn't missing in the first? How many boneheaded penalties did they commit? The defense is probably going to be a big issue all year because he cannot scheme to take pressure off the struggling secondary and sends wildly predictable blitz packages that can't get home.

I think it’s tough to tell just how bad the edge rushers are bc both A&M and Miami were supposed to be elite OLs this year. Regardless, they’ve disappointed.

I would argue that his scheme still has not been “implemented.”

The targeting and the missed holding were both really bad. Personally, I have a really hard time blaming the refs because of how clear it is to me that we could've won that game by 3+ TDs with a remotely competent DC.
Yeah, I mean sure the refs missed calls, but even Ohio State is gonna have tough time winning games when you give up 40+ points.

Hobbs did not play great but Quarters coverage is inherently susceptible to deep over the middle routes. With that, there are ways to combat this through scheme adjustments that did not happen. Ash is garbage and putting CHAMPIONSHIP CALIBER players in a horrible position.

There will be coach speak moments where play execution is mentioned, but the scheme is not a personnel fit if Ash isn’t going to call the plays that fit the teams skill set. This team needs scheme to create pressure, which isn’t being utilized nearly enough. The difference between Golden and Ash is control/trust. Ash lacks trust thus calls plays to feel as though his scheme controls the outcome. The best coaches, like Golden, understand players dictate the outcome and call what they are comfortable with.

I mentioned two weeks ago after losing to Miami that it seems like we’re gearing up for a title in 2026….

Not with these players and the 2025 recruiting was barely top ten with making the Natty. You go 8-4 with a shit bowl game the recruiting is going to get worse.

You have a good healthy attitude. Who’s your therapist?

Don’t get me wrong, I want to win every game by 60 points and thought we’d roll our first two games. I just don’t let it affect my life.
Especially with all of the crazy things that’s happened the past week.
My daughter is a skinny little blonde Ukrainian girl that looks a lot like the one in that train. That shook me.

I love Jesus, my wife, and my children.
That’s enough for me.

The bad part is that we haven’t had our WTF Tulsa/Marshall/NIU loss for the season yet.

Purdue?
Pitt?
Stanford?
