Had to explain to my buddy I was at the game with why I was so excited to see a random Freshman out there on the kickoff team. If your 6'7 DE is getting down there as one of the first dudes on a kickoff.... he's going to be a problem.

The hypothetical is the "flag" which your churching up, not the push. You're riled up about a possible outcome that did not occur. Hindsight is suppose to be 20/20. He addressed it publicly, he was spoken to by the coaches, so again no need to share your unwarranted opinion.
Lol, you're not gaslighting me, I know what I'm focused on and have been crystal clear.

That said, yes of course, just let the toddler walk out into traffic, hasn't been hit yet. :clown:

Glad the ref who was standing right there, didn't see it this way. Again, no need to bitch about a hypothetical that didn't happen. Also, like I previously stated... Mike Brown spoke to him on the sideline...so you can sleep easy tonight

The point being it was stupid and lucky the ref didn't throw the flag. Don't think it will happen again, but if it does, the odds a flag is thrown are pretty good.

And it doesn't exist in a vacuum, either. Refs LIVE to flag ND for this type of shit where they would let it go otherwise, for other teams. They dream about it. They get into referring on the off chance they can flag us for unsportsmanlike just once in their careers. Kyle Rudolph signaling first down is the archetypal example.

I thought this was funny in hindsight

I think this just underscores the idea that everyone, media, fans, "sharps" in Vegas, are making guesses at this stuff. Some more educated than others, but guesses none the less. It's why I found it funny that everyone lost their mind when the spread became three points. Who gives a shit, Vegas doesn't play the game.

None of their predictions came true

To avoid giving them clicks:
Weigman threw the two INTs, not Riley who had 0.
Irish did rush for over 100 yards, almost 200 actually
Terry Bussey didn't have a TD, but he did have 1 carry for 0 yards.
Aggies notched 0 sacks, not 3.

I thought the stadium noise didn’t live up to expectations … until the 4th quarter. Then it turned it to the loudest environment I’ve ever been to for a sporting event.

When they played Mo Bamba 3 straight times when they had all the momentum I couldn’t believe how insane it got in there. The stadium is perfectly designed to trap the noise, it’s like you’re playing at the bottom of a cylinder.

One thing that I may have missed but worth mentioning in this thread was the TE blocking. Raridon looked passive/ lost out there and the times I noticed Flannigan, he wasn't appreciably better.

We're clearly missing Evans, but need to be able to rely on these big te's to be physical assets in the run game to help the young tackles.

I thought they were better last season. Different caliber athlete that a&m had it there, but the effort didn't seem to be there. Anyone else notice that?

Yeah that place might be a legitimate cult, weird traditions down there for sure. But that is what makes college football so much fun

Gaslighting? Dude, you're reaching... I get it, you almost shit yourself because you thought he cost us the game. He didn't. But some people are acting like he did. Give it a rest.

I’m checking my old man into the hospital tomorrow for colon cancer surgery. Good news is that they are optimistic that they can get it all.

He’ll be there for a few days then staying with us until he heals. We’ll be watching the NIU game together from the house next Saturday.
Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Enjoy the NIU game with dad this Saturday!

Amazing how the D controlled explosive plays. A&M was lucky to have scored 13 points, helped by some (un)timely penalties by the Irish.
Right. If they can get that cleaned up and be a little more creative in the run game, sky is the limit.

I still think in terms of atmosphere, DL and Elko when all is said and done Denbrock has probably faced the toughest test they'll see to this point. Unless FSU really turns things around for themselves.

Just realized that one of the guys he's dapping up just before they run on is Kurt Hinish, who guess came over from Houston. Makes more sense why is brother was near the front of the crowd too.
