I always have on question for these people who do this. Where do you work? I just can't imagine a person in the corporate world having this on their dome.

To each their own though.

you do understand that people have non-corporate jobs, yes? there's a lot of money out there for people with tons of tats. sitting at a desk with a computer, giving presentations, or going to court are not the only ways to make a living.

Oh I understand that. Just seems to pigeon hole you to one type of career. No turning back from that. But like I said to each their own.

I do as well, I have two large tattoos and am working on a half sleeve on my upper right arm.

This guys tat is pretty extreme, but don't rip on the guy for making a conscious desicion to get a tattoo that he believes in.

It also doesn't mean that he'll be mopping floors to make a buck.

Like #5 the magic number said, just because we have tattoos doesn't mean that we are all degenerates and punk rock people.

Show me where I mocked him for getting a tat. Wouldn't make much sense as I have them as well.

I'm tatted up too, but they're in places that are relatively easy to cover.

I do find his to be really extreme, but to each his own.

Being rather heavily tattooed myself, I don't take exception to this guy getting this tattoo. However, it is a rather crappy tattoo in my opinion. The line work is not consistent and the four horsemen look really strange and don't have much detail.

Most tattoo artists I know would discourage a client from getting a photo realistic/portrait type tattoo on the head. Too many imperfections to really make it come out good. All the bumps and ridges in the skull make it very difficult to get consistent outlines.

The roundess of the head distorts many details and throws off the perspective. For instance, to me, the dome comes up to more of a point than it should.

I remember when tattoos were a mark of rebelliousness. Bikers, sailors, those kind of guys. On women tattoos were a whore's open for business sign. Now every dick has a tattoo of a smurf or some Celtic cross (whether they are of Celtic heritage or not). Tattoos have become the mark of the sheep. Fools following fools. Go ahead mutilate yourself, make your statement. Goll durned kids...

For some people this statement is true, (the barb wire arm band, butterfly tramp stamp)

Other people actually think and plan out the meaning of their ink and placement of it.

good thing we aren't painting broad strokes here!

The barb wire and the tramp stamp do have a rationale for their position and image:

The barb wire= masculine and where does it go... on the bicep.

Tramp stamp = feminine/sexual and goes just above the butt.

People might not like it but it does make sense.
