Also, I appreciate SoFi doing the green logo on these instead of their typical one. I wish they would make it Gold though on all jerseys instead of the dark blue or green. I think that would make it look cleaner.

So, I went to their website to see what the normal color is. Its actually a light blue, so it looks like even the normal blue uniform patch is them matching to the uniform. I know its not the biggest thing, but I like that we found a place willing to do that instead of the Monster patch which is going to look so bad when it clashes with a bunch of uniforms.

Seems like we might already be seeing some of that NIL at work. Premer, Hidalgo, McKinney(?), Engle. High priced football players and stars of other sports. That seems like the right formula.

I’m 43, and remember the 93’ team and thinking they were the toughest, coolest dudes on the planet. And then, it all went away. Had me honestly wondering if we would ever be great again. In those times certainly didn’t have the luxury to think about them ever being “cool” again. So to see where we’re at now, with the straight up coldest coach in America, and elite swaggy players all over the field with a pipeline of 5*’s coming in reserve is just something special. These are getting ragged on online and I’m not sure why. At worst they are just a boring black uni for a blackout game. The are supposed to be inspired by the Everlast boxing logo. I think if you’ve been to Louisville before, you realize they put Muhammad Ali shit everywhere. I like em as a subtle alternative

Not saying this is the case at all, but I could see Coach Lou before he passed away telling the university that he didn't want anything special on the jersey to honor him. Much like him removing names from the jersey when he arrived, and the focus on the team over an individual.

If the university ends up not doing anything, I will take that as Coach requesting it, more than the university overlooking it till I hear otherwise.
