Hung out with him at a local ND bar in Upstate NY. I would definitely say hes just around 6ft3. Big Dude, and seemingly a great guy !

First question to MFMF was from Prister and it was basically "NIL is out of control what's the deal?" MFMF said it's about recruits knowing you have a plan for it, and we do have a plan. But we're gonna follow the rules."

Tim Prister with a good question on NIL to start the presser. Paraphrased:

Prister: "So the intent of NIL is out the window, how are you keeping up with other schools?"

Freeman: "Well there are rules, we can't arrange NIL deals for them or tell them what they're going to get. But we do let them know that we have a plan."

Prister: "OK but other schools are stepping past those rules so how are you going to compete with that?"

Freeman: "Well..... we're not going to cheat here. We're going to have to out work teams."

He gave the most diplomatic answer possible, and there was a lot to read between the lines. Some boosters need to step up and pull a Texas and let fans know where to send their donations.

MFMF killed the presser really:
- Reupped on being the lead recruiter for every kid.
- Again mentioned his philosophy that he believes there are lots of elite kids that are ND kids, but don't know it, and it's his job to show them that. Cited Sneed.
- Said they will start working right now on filling the holes at WR, with both the portal and signing additional '23 WRs.
- Said they have an NIL plan and doesn't seem like he is shying away from that at all.

Yeah his answer was pretty surprising and fresh. Basically said it wasn't "loyalty" to anyone, it's that he makes family first decisions. Said he turns down all kinds of other jobs because he has two teenagers daughters (one of whom is a top fencer) that are entrenched here + want to go to Notre Dame.

I don't understand it. Barstool is not some alumni booster, it's a business decision for them and I don't know how you justify "millions" to some kid at Jackson State.
