Doubtfull Boise st goes to the PAC 12. Boise has never wanted to join a BCS conference and I don't see that changing.

What if their hand is forced (like Notre Dame?). If super-conferences are formed, I don't see how you could make a BCS without being in one of the hypothetical Big Four.

Oh and I can't find a link, but ESPN just reported that Texas waived their rights as well. It seems like Kansas and Baylor are going to do what they can to stop A & M. I wonder if they'll do the same to Oklahoma when they leave next.

Boise is not interested in facing a tough schedule week in and week out. And most big conferences are not interested in going to Idaho, which would be a real drag for all not FB sports, to say nothing about the poor revenue from the TV market.
I think Boise has real good 22 or so players, but I suspect their depth is not very good so they need 8 or 9 cup cakes every year. I doubt if they could stand up to a big ten er twelve or a big twelve er nine conference schedule.

Who says Boise has a hand that can be forced? What do they have besides a few good years in football?

I confused as to were Texas will land after all this. What conference is going to take them and allow them to run their network like the big 12 is currently. I see advertisement all over the place for ordering their network. Could this force UT to independent?

Speculation that they can go Pac-12, Big-10 and they can go Independent as well. If any school can pull it off it is Texas

The only thing that would force ND to join a conference is if they can no longer put together a 12 game competitive schedule

On a related note, all Houston Uverse subscribers just got the Longhorn Network for free.

Forgetting the team, it's actually pretty sweet: it's all football. Practices, interviews, training, press conferences, game replays, etc.

Compare that to the Big10 Network, where half the time it's some school not even in the Top 25, the other time it's womens' volleyball.

If ND could do something like this it would be fantastic.
