Okay, I may be late to the party on this one, but does ANYONE know what that thing is? You know, the one they carry out every game, that looks like a large staff with shamrock leaves at the top.

I would imagine it is a shillelagh, a large club used by the Irish in battle or for protection. Bogtrotter can probably verify the accuracy of my spelling and provide a more detailed history of the weapon.

Yeah, that needs to go in the trash. I remember Shembo tried to stick it in the ground as they ran out of the tunnel, which might have been cool, except it stuck in the ground and promptly tipped over haha.
