You just can’t have Kiser, Bauer and Bertrand on the field at the same time. Not enough speed. Maybe for a short yardage. Our tackling got ugly in the fourth quarter. Holding these guys to 21 will be and should be seen as quite the accomplishment. Especially at home. I don’t GAS that #11 was hit hard and knocked out of the game. Unfortunately we couldn’t do the same for the well protected QB. Really disappointed at how badly the D got pushed around in the fourth quarter. Foskey was basically a non factor all night. Did nothing to improve his draft stock. Buchner better light it up at home opener. After the first quarter probably the worst 3 quarters I’ve seen at QB since the Arnez Battle and Evan Sharpley. You can throw Montanas kid in their for good measure.

That play call changed the entire game. Still don't understand it.

Lots of things we are gonna have to iron out on offense, but I don't expect the O-line to be this bad again all year. I expect us to still be in the top 10 come Tuesday.

It’s possible that the season will be salvaged and I think MF can do it. But I do believe he’s going to have to make some tough decisions in the office. I hate to say it but maybe an Ok QB calling plays isn’t a good idea, and maybe an OL coach no one else wanted is not a good idea. We have the players, they’re just not being given the best opportunities. I think MF can fix it, his job is counting on it.

Agree. You can't go wrong hiring a former head coach at a major program and Super Bowl position coach to spend all summer planning as your DC. There's a massive difference between that and a kid groomed under BK to run your offense. Literally all we needed to do was score 22 points against the best offense in all of college football. Once again, Rees is the weakest link.

They played way to conservative on D not pressuring Shroud enough. With that said the Defense did keep them from lighting us up. But we needed the Offense to make plays and obviously that didn’t happen.
