Don’t give a shit about how many OSU fans are there, what Lou or Herbie said, or what mascot head Corso put on. None of it will have any damn impact on the final. This has all been fun but it’s time to go kick some bucknut ass. I hope this team performs (I believe they will) on the big stage tonight. These big night games are electric. Go Irish!!!

I don't want to pick on the faculty but since many of them have season tickets, they also need to told no sales except within the ND community. And if they don't want to go and cannot sell within the community, you can give it to local SB people who are not well-off. The chasing a buck, whether by a season ticket holder or the athletic department, is appalling.

Agree that it shouldn't affect the game that much, although we shouldn't have to deal with noise at ND stadium.

Not sure what I'd take from a picture 75 minutes before the game starts. Where else are Ohio State fans supposed to hang out?
Regardless, what FDNY said. Time to go play some fucking football.

Way too much red 😡
Not counting student section, I would say the stadium is currently about 40%. This sucks!!!

If the rest of the stadium filled with nothing but green you're looking at a min 30-35% red. It's gross in here.

I'm not there, despite only being about 2 hours away.
I cannot complain, but this is fucking sad.

Feel like a good chunk of the red is people trying to get there early for this very reason (optics). Bet it will look much better by kickoff.

Yulander Wells, deputy athletics director in charge of business strategy
Patrick Nowlin, senior associate athletics director for business innovation and revenue generation

These are the people Sampson identified in his article as being responsible for solving this problem. If the stadium is red, these are the people you blame. Plus Swarbrick.
