I like Bowen. I really do. But with their QB's running ability and Leveon Moss, we've gotta have KVA in there right? Do we look at Ausberry over Sneed too? I wasn't impressed with Sneed in the Miami game. We need speed out there.

Texas A&M currently ranks 103rd after two games against UTSA and Utah State in Tackling. This is after ranking 105th last season according to PFF.

This is why the A&M defense struggled down the stretch and why they have given up some big runs already this year. They are very poor open field tacklers.

He didn’t have 20 touches once last year. Unless Price fumbles again, I don't see that changing.
Leonard was taking many of the runs. I think Love will have 17 runs and Price, he will have 13. Carr will only run once. For a TD.

Do they actually travel well? There wasn't big presence last time they were here for the Davie Bowl.

Yeah, ours was 9th and Clemson's was 10th. Both looked bad in their opening games.
I agree, though the rankings were from last May, when Jagusah was a projected starter, our posters probably would've ranked ND's higher, and the results were very much a reflection of competition faced.

Has anyone here parked in the Blue Lot before? Have passes to that lot this weekend and don’t know if it is a tailgating lot or more just parking and go.

A little of both. It’s a decent spot to park. Never park in the White Lot if you want to leave the game within an hour of the final whistle. I’d rather gouge my eyes out.

Line up to -7 on Draft kings and ML up to -285, which equates to like a 75% win probability.

FWIW we were a 7 point favorite over Indiana in the playoffs last year.

Watched their game vs Utah St on SEC Network. Matt Stinchcomb was doing color. About ND, he claimed “they don’t know what’s coming” and then referenced the Red Outs that occurred when Nebraska & UGA invaded South Bend. TIFWIW

Jamie at ISD with another exceptionally deep scouting report. They have a ton of talent and this is almost as much of a must win for Elko as it is us.

If we can win this I think this is an A&M team that could go on and make us look really good despite their tough schedule.

These don’t happen anymore because ND underwent a systematic change on how they approach ticketing. Even if there is a lot of A&M fans there it won’t be that noticeable. Especially with that maroon color at night.

Took the week off. Did I miss anything?

Gonna lose to A&M. Go 10 - 2 but not make the playoffs. Both Ash and Denbrock fired. Bad next year. A&M will take over the stadium Saturday. Hinish and Knapp will be given infinite eligibility.

I also heard some whispers of Buchner wild cat packages?

TexAgs 247 is like upside down world Canes 247. They have no confidence whatsoever in their team and basically nobody expects to win.

Should I extend an invitation to them?

It's interesting how a bunch of posters are annoyed with other posters for being pessimistic after Miami.

I don't see any of these posters predicting or stating they expect ND to be improved and win this next game? There's more Monday morning quarterbacking of statements like "you guys really thought ND was going to be championship caliber this year with a first-time starting QB and new DC?"

ND returned 15-17 starters (depending on how you look at a few) from a team that just played in the NC game. We should be (and may end up being) really good, but we weren't close to that vs Miami. We were flat with passive game plans on both sides of the ball, and our play reflected it. Maybe Miami will be NDs NIU moment from last year and we come out locked in, flying around, aggressive, and be who we thought they should like we did at Purdue last year (i do not expect ND to blow A&M out even if we play great).

There's a lot of unexpected things that come with a first game, but what I never expected was how soft and with lack of aggression ND played no matter what the play call was. That to me was extremely disappointing and didn't expect that from a freeman coached team in a big game.

Because it’s the same few posters beating the same dead horse to the ground for 2 weeks and it’s surely going to continue for another few weeks with anything short of a 49-0 win over Texas A&M with 500 yards rushing.

The game against Miami sucked. ND lost to a top 10 team by 3 points on the road and probably played very poorly compared to how they will play the rest of the year. All this over-analysis of one game is pointless.
