Book is still not a championship level QB.. he’s way too inconsistent.

This is DUKE.. we’re developmentally at the stage where we should be controlling this game. And I’m sure by the end of it he’ll do enough to grab the win but we’re not competing for NCs with this kid..

I know I sound like doomsday 1st game of season panic fan but I know this storyline all too well..

That’s not doomsday, I have them losing this game at this point.

I don’t care if Chip Long, Charlie Weis, Brian Van Gorder, or Sean McVay is calling plays.

If your QB can’t make plays and your OL can’t block it’s hard to score points. Book is all over the place and also not seeing wide open dudes. OL losing their 1v1s far too often.

Why we need to recruit better. Need some studs.

Book is case in point why statistics and analytics can't be the be all end all when evaluating players. He is 20-3 as a starter, 57 TD 17 INT and tons of yards. But he absolutely, 100%, DOES NOT pass the eye test.

Beating a bunch of nobodies is what we do.

You serious Clark? Kelly has got to be forced to fire some more of his buddies and hire a few real coaches . Talent is not the problem. Until we play the best qb and develop him with a real coach and great system. We destroy the losers and get rolled against top 5 teams. I’m now content with 10-2.

He's been "out" for "non injury" reasons that the media knows about, but won't seem to elaborate about. It's been that way for the last few weeks apparently.
