He played a great game considering our o-line struggled against a potential All-American or two on Purdue's front. And lost two dynamite weapons in Eifert and Daniels.

Only major errors not throwing ball away and late fumble.

I don't think Citi is being a negative nancy at all, he is in fact exactly right. It was still an incredible team win, so proud of everyone especially EG, and Tommy, but that list could go on and on. A lot to iron out and clock management is one of them. We have seen games slip away with little or no time on the clock. Anyway lets enjoy this one.

i'm not arguing this, i was his biggest supporter in the first half/beginning of 2nd...but I have no problem going Tommy Gun there even if EG isn't hurt, and I said that BEFORE he even took the first snap/before I knew EG was injured (could that just have been a cover up story?). Tommy has proven for one drive he can get a team down the field (Michigan last year, probably other games too). EG is gonna be a stud, but he was completely flustered and holding the ball not even attempting to go down field, getting sacked, fumbling..it was a perfect move for one drive...which according to kelly thats all it was for at this point.

I like Jackson think he's a great kid and a heck of an athlete, but damn Russell just looks natural out there. I also think Shumate is going to be really good.

We win more games then what the "experts" predict and we get the recruits we've been missing on things will come together in a big way.

I'm done doubting or worrying, I believe in Coach Kelly and i see this program on a steady climb. After a Win like this it shows it.

Golson was the REASON we won this game... No run game, no Oline... yes the defense played well (for the most part), but Golson should be the player of the game.

I am not a negative person and I still trust Kelly, but I am not sure I fully buy Golson being injured for that last series... However, at least Kelly came out and said he was starting the next game (which he should).
