Smh...get your head out of your ***. The 5th year seniors and the 4th year seniors are not the coaching staffs recruits. Can we hold judgement till next year on the staff when they have a full 4 years of recruits.

This yr is a different yr and I am not looking at the past so I don't give a **** about Weis or Willinghams yrs. I am living in the present and Diacos D and his recruits this yr have LEFT SOMETHING TO BE DESIRED. That's it, so I don't know what u are arguing with me about. Is he better then Weis/Willingham yrs, well no **** but if we are going to go to the past than **** Diaco is no Alvarez.

It was meant in general.

I'm tired of the whining, and over reactions to everything!

It is literally ****ing exhausting for me, and I'm sure a lot of other posters.

It's like half of the people here think we can just up and buy the best coaches for the best spots and it will work.

NEWSFLASH: THIS ISNT A VIDEO GAME

Diaco is a damn fine coach, coordinator, and recruiter, and I'd bet a shitload of money that 90% of the other schools in he country would LOVE to have such a talented guy at such a young age.

We missed tackles today. Navy is a good team. How about just that? Not everyone trying to instigate a witch hunt for someone to blame why we ONLY won by 4....

This isn't the 80's. College football has grown and evolved.

I also don't think there is a "back", which is probably why other fans hate us.

Like I said, I'm not against this staff in the least... And have never said anything near your representations a post or so ago so I hope none of that was at me... This staff is close and has lived the longest with my faith longer than any other in my adulthood ( and yes, I'm not an egotist, my faith, judgement only matters to me...) but I can't say with confidence that they'll def win one and get ND back ... Thre are persistent issues I can't explain...

I also believe its harder in cfb today, but I do think its possible...

Anyway, I think I got drawn into an argument I don't fall on either side in so I'm out before EVERYONE starts yelling at me.

I are with you about the witch hunts and such but I am instigating neither. All I'm saying is Diaco needs to step his game/coaching up at coach to his potential and have his kids play to their talent level.

I look at it like this: who, right now, could feasibly come to ND and do better? Realistic answers... Urban? Nope Saban? Nope. So whom would you take OVER BK?

Understood, and keep in mind we played this whole game without Nix, Shumate, Ishaq...

Basically we played with half the defense as our 2nd-3rd stringers.

Edit: also throw in a handful of true freshman in there

Understood but IMO I have not been sold on Diaco since the FSU game in the champs bowl and now post Teo/Motta he needs to sell his system beyond those players. I truly hope he lives up to the hype of many on this board and the expectations of this 31yr fan. Go Irish!!
