Tommy has thrown for 211 yards this half. He's gotten the ball to at least 4 different receivers...just about like Dayne. He's been good. He's made good reads. He's made almost every throw.

I don't know what we dislike about that.

What I dislike is our Offense is all short or intermediate routes with Tommy. If you can not stretch the defense vertically you have very little chance to come from behind. Dayne obviously is not the answer. How many losses at home by teams that we are "better" than before we face facts. Notre Dames expectation should be BCS. Do you think we can beat a BCS caliber team without a vertical attack? Double floyd and play man under...it is as simple as that to stop as right now. Our D played their butts off, but lets be honest, we were not ready to play .
