absolutely he's faster. I would quote stats but theres not much to go on since he got injured because kelly was running him.

You can go back and look at Zaire previous runs, then look at Kizer's. Kizer's runs tend to look easy because they are. He gets a lot of easy yards in the open field because teams respect the long ball. How many times can you think of a time Kizer juked a player out of their boots or muscled out of a tackle? You can't, not often anyway. Credit him for taking off with the ball when he sees open field, but that doesn't mean he's a better runner. Zaire, on the other hand, is more athletic with the ball in his hands. He can be an elusive ball carrier, and he's tough to bring down at times. He's most definitely faster, but mostly he's just explosive from the first step. I agree that in a 100 yard dash both guys are probably pretty fast.

He doesn't have the arm to be the everyday QB. they would load the box and i don't think his are would be constant enough. He would run so much he would get all banged up and the back up would play 2 or 3 games a year. Yes he has a much quicker first step when he decides to run. But one they are full stride they are both pretty fast.

He does not have Kizer's arm, but the kid can throw it.

Based on what??? One game against a terrible Texas team. A Texas team who's improved 2016 roster Kizer shredded even worse.

LSU, USC, Spring games, take your pick. It's a low sample size, but he's been consistent.

Let's ignore the big problem and work on the secondary problems that always works.

He has an amazing arm, what are you talking about? Hes just not consistent at this point because he's riding the pine

Irish eyes, I like Zaire too. But, he wasn't consistant last year when he was starting. He only did until he broke his ankle at Virginia. But, he was 7-18 when he went down. Kizer is a far superior thrower, and just as effective runner because of this throwing. Now Zaire has a cannon, but not as good overall as Kizer.

I don't think we really need to even talk about it much longer, Zaire will transfer. Just my though.

That whole offense at Virginia was atrocious. We struggled to handle the blitz, and receivers couldn't get open fast enough because of the pressure. It was a complete disintegration as a team until that drive when Zaire started getting a drive moving and his ankle was broken. There were a number of boneheaded offensive play calls in that game too. I don't understand why we can't make adjustments till halftime, we seem to be completely ineffective in the 2nd quarter of many games.

I'm sure that the recruits that visited this week didn't appeciate the shatshow they watched today. Wonder how all of this will effect our current class and the '18 campaign that has started off so nicely. UGH!

No Post Game Observations thread yet? Should I be concerned about the well being of some of the more well-known I.E. posters? Or was today's performance by the Irish such a shit show that the Post Game Observation thread would only consist of the sound of dropping a 20lb bag of wet manure off a 10 story building???

There's 6-7 other burn it down threads going on..... do we really need another.

I am also very concerned with Yoon kicking.

Yes not very good. Missed field goal and can't kick in the endzone.

I said Booker doesn't have special teams prepared last week and everyone jumped on me. Special teams just stinks.

Well, the post game observations threads often didn't start out as burn it down threads. They actually contained some good analysis that, I for one, often enjoyed.

What did I miss? I turned my phone off and went to see Living Color, Public Enemy and the Roots in DC.

Living colour as good as they've always been?

Hell yes. Vernon Reid still shreds. Corey Glover sounds the exact same. Public Enemy came in a scorched the place. The Roots are probably one of the best groups around right now. They were flawless.

Is Corey Glover still the lead singer? I saw him as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar with Ted Neeley (original Jesus from the movie) several years ago and Corey was amazing! Such a good singer!

should have used italics. cheer up man :)

Didn't mean to sound snarky. Just didn't want to give the impression I wanted another "Fire (fill in the blank)" of "Bench (fill in the blank)" thread.

I picked a bad weekend to not drink so I am not sure I can cheer up. Maybe some Tylenol PM is in order tonight!!!

I have heard he is one of the nicest dudes ever too! A friend of mine worked for Ritz Carlton and helped him and said he was just an awesome guy.
