A lot of people seems to be bashing Shumate, sure he can play better, but he has a minor role on this defense. The ones that should be carrying this D are not playing as well as they should. No rush at all vs a QB that is not even considered average at this stage in his career. No es bueno.

Nix is a much better pass rusher. The problem is he gets double teamed all the time. Tuitt is 1 on 1 on the edge and he has been getting zero pressure.

And Day is much better than Tuitt also.
