Maybe if they hadn't lost 5 yards on third down. 4th and 7 is a terrible percentage. If you don't make it the game is over. Punting gives you a better chance to win, but you it would have been better to have had all 3 timeouts and not leave people uncovered downfield on 3rd and long.

One of the many issues with this lose is that there is absolutely no incentive to play as a team. It's all about trying to make a name for yourself now. So this season is a bust. We will drop at least 3 more games

I agree this defense isn't good but it is your defense so you do the best you can with them. They'd stopped them on however many possessions in a row. With 3 timeouts, punting costs you 15-20 seconds off the game clock and theoretically you get the ball back in the same spot and restart your downs. I'd trade 20 seconds for 1st down before I tried to go for 4th and 7 100 times out of 100.

I sincerely don't know if there is a more under coached team in the entire country.

Once again, nobody was ready. Even our "Heisman" hopeful. This was a complete shit show.

Have to give it to this team. They never give up.

Hindsight is always 20/20. So it would be easy for me to go back and say if this would have happened or that but that doesn't solve anything. It just causes more headache and heartache.

The season is far from lost. A playoff spot is definitely out of the question. The goal now needs to be a New Year's Day Bowl.

It appeared to me that BK was pretty up set with BVG and Lyght. But to fire BVG now as many would like, is not in ND's personality. Also, who would they even upgrade to play caller if they did. We are just going to have to roll with the punches the rest of the season and pray for the best.
