I in no way condone racism. The use of the picture was simply to jokingly suggest an outrageous act that had not already been spoken for, for Veritae to consider. Some of you need to get off of your high, drama filled horses.

You seem to agree that most gains in that department come from off season. That's because in season, you don't lift as much. If these freshman know they are not playing, they can lift more/harder, because they don't have to save themselves for gameday. Besides, RS still get practice reps.

I'm not saying there's no benefit to real reps as a true frosh DL, just that IMO the year of weight training is more important for the guys that don't come in as 5 stars.

Never played college anything, twice first time all conference RB, once 2nd team all state in high school (admittedly. I was a little overrated). Also ran track and played basketball.

Whether you're a starter or a red shirt, everyone is on the same weight training and eating schedule. The only benefit of a RS is usually those guys play "JV" games. Essentially it's RS from one school vs RS from another. This, to my knowledge, only occurs in the lower divisions. RS in D1 gets the benefit of less stress, less damage to their body, and more emphasis on learning your play book. Other than that, M is usually helmets, T uppers W full pads, R uppers, F walk through with lifting twice in the early morning somewhere during that week. Sat game, Sun sleep in, film, weights

Also you don't lift harder. Everyone is on the same work out plan. If it calls for 50% of my bench max than regardless if I'm Jaylon or Morgan, I'm going 50% for the same amount of reps

Our luck it's Moore and DD, and DD will get busted robbing a bank next week, lol.

Hoping it's DD and KVR, but DD seems like the odd man out. So selfishly hoping it's KVR and Ishaq.

This could get really embarrassing if the University seriously fucked up and these players were completely innocent all along.

I seriously doubt that'd happen, but just saying.

It would be somewhat embarrassing if ALL players are cleared.
Even if 3 come back, and one is gone, ND did the right thing IMO.
I'd prefer to be embarrassed right now.

So this potential good news coming from this guy on DD has me thinking.

We need to create a log in in the scUM site. Just keep it active. Once something terrible goes down, come in as the fake knight in shining armor, and say you know someone and deliver news that is good.

Then just crush their hearts.

FWIW, on the DD site, some dude "I'm backing Chirodomer on his one. He is normally dead balls on accurate."

So if the Domer Domain post is accurate (I know that poster carries some cred there, so it's encouraging) and DD and KR are cleared, can we all agree that ESPN will gloss over the facts and focus on the two that are still under investigation? Safe to say a retraction would be too much to ask if all four are cleared..

It's going to take three days for the erections of those at ESPN to go down if this is true. We can expect no love from those folks. I was borderlined "neg repped" last time I went off on ESPN so i'll be quiet.

A retraction would only be appropriate if they ran a story that is inaccurate. Have they done that? As far as I've seen they've reported that 4 players are under investigation for academic fraud. That is and will remain accurate even if they are all cleared

Just wondering but if all four or even one is cleared what's the possibility that one of the implicated could sue the university for slander? Granted the university said it was just an investigation and the players haven't been dismissed or anything but by acknowledging the players involved and how everyone except for ND fans already see them as guilty i could see where someone could say it hurt their draft stock because of possible character issues. I doubt any of these guys would but people sue for everything now days.
