I have a buddy that works at Tony Stewart racing and was out in Carolina for awhile with a couple teams, rumor is septic pneumonia.

That’s crazy. Considering her asked for a doc durning the race. I would have thought they would have caught that and started him on it or a pic line with some strong antibiotics.

Of course, we don't know for sure if that was what killed him, but if so, it's a difficult disease to diagnose and treat sometimes. The early symptoms are hard to differentiate from a dozen other things such as a bad cold, the flu, bronchitis, and etc. Symptoms are often atypical, making it easy to misdiagnose. It's difficult to know if it's bacterial or viral. All too often, by the time you realize what it is, the patient's already septic and experiencing the onset of organ failure and it can be too late for antibiotics to turn the game around.

You don’t hear much about Sepsis except with the elderly, but it is some serious shit. You have to get on top of it immediately.

Kind of surprised that KBs wife and kids made it to the race. He started to grow on me once he went to RCR, and I seen Brextons racing videos on YouTube. Granted, him going back to Chevy made it easier for me to cheer for him, but the genuine dedication to helping his son made me like him alot more
