Okay so on my offline dynasty I decided to finally get a Head Coach job. Honestly I should have been offered some big boy jobs, but this game hates me. So I passed on my Alma Mater (Ball State) and agreed to head coach at FIU. The players are weak sauce compared to the players back at SMU, but I straight up DOMINATED a UCF team that challenged me more back at SMU.

The reason my offense is better? I have two quick/fast RBs. FINALLY.

I smell a one-and-done here at FIU.

Oh and a bit of a side note: I dominated the recruiting game back at SMU as well. I got FS #8, #9, and #10 one year (along with several other 4*). The next year I got CB #10, #11, and #13; MLB #7, #8; a couple top ten OLBs (I can't remember their rankings); #4 DT (and another one that was like #14); WR #15, #17, #30; SS #7; TE #4; and more. I rocked it.

--At SMU I had three really good/fast backs... I went with the wishbone and Maryland I basically 80% of the time and just ran right at people... including Texas, Bama, and OU... and just killed them... won at least ten games every year. Pony Express back again...

those formations are unstoppable with two or more good backs... Heisman be damned... it doesn't matter... Another gret one is the five wide from shotgun... WITH five wide, not the normal setting... and Ace bunch set to "Big" is really good if you have two good TEs... FORGETABOUTIT


--also, has anyone else found it impossible to return punts this year???... I have taken two to the house only to have both called back on clips... just about every other time I am lucky to get ten yards... I only have ONE KO return also... special teams coverage is solid on Heisman... too much so really. Am I missing something or is it just that real?

--oh, and screen passes and draws suck for players but are money for cpu teams on Heisman... right??

I find now that we can adjust recruiting difficulty that I always start on freshman and by year two or so I have to put it to All American, otherwise I have the top class every year with ease.... on AA I get top tens but not crazy classes and certainly not number ones all the time... without feeling like I'm being cheated out of players they way I do when I put it on Heisman

Nice dominating win.

I have a 96 speed DB with 99 overall return in my second season with ND... he's a frosh so it may get real in a year or two...

but so far it has not improved my return ability at all... in fact the only KO return I had was against Navy when my stud DB was sidelined and his replacement ran one back...

To be honest my fast backs have an overall speed of only like 92 and 94. I'm just getting started.

Oh and I don't think I've had a punt return for a TD yet. And only a few big ones.

I had one punt return td, but that was in a play it now game.
a few kicks taken back too.

My fast back in our OD is 92ish speed I think.

So I guess I lie... lol... that stud DB I talked about broke an 86 yard punt return in the National Title Game of all things... I dominated Boise in a fashion I rarely see against top teams on Heisman, 51-3... they crossed mid field once... anyway, yeah, I finally broke one... the key was the cpu kicked it right on the sideline and I got a block or two (Without clipping... glory be)... and opened up space by going to the oppostie sideline at an angle... made one man miss and it was over...

so kicks along the sideline are do-able....

Yeah on Heisman, with sliders barely touched at all (I took the cpu INT down and moved my catching up... WRs drop passes like crazy on Heisman) it is damn near impossible on reg. punts to even get ten yards.
