Yes sir! Just for the record, Finn, I choose to remember and honor those who have served, and are currently serving, every single day...I don't need a holiday or anniversary to remind me to be thankful for those ppl...then again, I am a veteran who has done his fair share of time overseas defending and supporting this country...So when I hear someone rattle off non-sense about "necessary wars", I find that they have NO FREAKIN' CLUE how offensive and degrading that is (not too mention downright disrespectful) to the ones who have given whatever was asked of them...ppl wanna talk about "necessary wars" and then mention the 60's civil rights movement as what really gave them their freedom, then they are in need of a reality check...as a proud vet, I have no problem giving them that...and quite frankly, Finn, I don't need you to tell me how to remember the ones who have died for me, as I know what it's like to lose members of my own MP Company...But I would NEVER....NEVER...say a war was unnecessary becuz then that would be like saying that those soldiers sacrifices were unnecessary (and how disrespectful, degrading and condescending is that??)...and I will continue to speak up on behalf of my fallen brothers-in-arms when I feel their sacrifices have been minimized by some uber-liberal know-it-all (what else would you expect from a liberal? LOLOL)...So thanks for the advice, Finn, but maybe you should try putting yourself in my shoes...ya know, that of guy who takes the military and his country to heart...All Gave Some, Some Gave All...
