Why isn’t the media reporting on his health? You don’t hate the media enough!!1!

I mean if you were an actually intellectually honest person, you would see that there are no similarities between an unflattering photo and 90 minutes of live television of a man with dementia wheezing his way through rambling, incoherent thoughts.

This is just a photo, I’ll find a video next time of him and you’ll see the biased media not calling out elder abuse.

You just described must of Trump's speaking appearances. Rambling on tangents that have nothing to do with the subject, forgets what state he is in, spewing lies and bs.

Is he less sharp than he used to be? Yes, for sure. But if you legitimately think him and Biden are on the same level of cognitive decline, then you are just not serious as a person. Trump is considerably better than Biden was in 2020.

Most polls have Trump getting 50%+ of RFK's vote with about 20% or so going to Kamala. Should be worth about 1.5-3% swing towards Trump in some states

I don't care about Biden's cognitive ability I care about Trump's. I didn't vote for Biden and wasn't going to vote for Biden. And to me Trump doesn't appear mentally fit to run our country. And he's cognitive ability will only decline over the next 4 years. There's no reason to believe he won't get worse.

Yeah but Toronto was doing a bit comparing the media not covering a bad photo of Trump to the media explicitly gaslighting us about the current president of the United States' mental decline

I did not tho and I was specifically replying to your post about a man not able to speak for 90 minutes some staying on topic, not rambling and not saying incoherent things. All things we've seen from Trump. If you're going to hold one person accountable and say it's a negative do it for everyone

Kennedy is staying on ballots in Red/Blue states, but pulling his name in battleground swing states. I haven't heard him endorse Trump, but he just flat out said, he's doing it to oppose the Dems/Harris. He spent the first 20 minutes of his speech absolutely ripping the DNC and he's still not done.

Sounds like he's about to fully endorse Trump based on the way he's speaking now.

There's an understatement.

Is it all those controversial statements he makes? Lamestream media can't seem to get enough, and they keep covering him like he's a normal Presidential nominee.

Both Trump and Biden have benefited because of how the media covered them. For people to get upset that Biden got favorable coverage needs to acknowledge that Trump has received same benefit

Depends on how closely you follow RFK, I guess. It's not a surprise to me, but it's news worthy.
Definitely newsworthy. I think anyone that follows politics at all wouldn't see it as surprising. The only reason it would come off as surprising is because of his last name

I stopped early. Jumped back in for bit when he said he had a dead worm in his head.

I'm fully stocked up on his sort. Don't have the bandwidth.

His brother Chris ran for governor here in IL in 2018 and it was a very bizarre campaign, if it really was. He endorsed Biden over his brother but I have not seen if he has gone public for Harris yet.

I met the other brother Max back in 2018 and if anyone should be running for anything it's him. He's by far and away the most normal of the three. By a long shot.

RFK ran as a Dem, ultimately to drop out and endorse the Republic nominee. Has that ever happened?

I don't think that's accurate. He as a Dem until 2023 and was running as a third party/Independent candidate.

He gave a rundown of his entire campaign in the beginning of this speech. I can't rewind to verify exact dates, etc.

2023 was last year, btw. Lol.

But in all seriousness, I think he switched to IND because he got blocked by the DNC to be a serious primary challenger to Biden.

Feels like forever the fuck ago.

I think he's crazier than a shithouse rat and this was the only possible outcome that he dropped out and endorsed Dear Leader.

If Adam Kinzinger runs for statewide office in IL, I'd probably vote for him. I think a lot of Democrats would and I think he'd absolutely clean up with Independents and moderates, too.

This was a guy in 2010 who rode the Tea Party wave and a Sarah Palin endorsement into Congress who ends up speaking on the final night of the DNC in 2024.

He was also in talks to serve an administration position with Trump in 2017. He might not have switched his pretty affiliation until 2023 but I think it's fair to say he hasn't been a Democrat for awhile

I actually used to write him off as well, until I started actually listening to him speak a couple years ago. A lot of what he talks about are things that I've heard plenty of progressives speak of back in the day. A perfect example is his support for Michelle Obama's school lunch program, which he then he parlays into a fight against Big Ag, Big Pharma, etc.

He's asked for a seat at the table in both administrations.
