I had a friend that would take annual vacations with his wife to Disney and I'd always make fun of him. Then, I made the Disney trip with the kids a few years ago and left there thinking I couldn't wait to get back without the kids. Not sure I'd pick it as my honeymoon destination, but definitely a trip worth taking with the lady.

Both my wife and I have been to WDW several times as kids and adults, so... we personally would never have picked Disney for our honeymoon. But its not impossible for me to understand why its a honeymoon destination. Especially for couples that havent been to WDW before. Some of the resorts there are top notch.

It's $2 ya cheap bastard. I think that amount is worth not looking like a complete prick to your coworkers. lol

Maybe it's both too much and not enough, for some people. Too much to waste on a losing proposition, and not enough to get them out of the "prick to your coworkers" boat, in any event.

Jealousy is a terrible waste of emotion....

But at least you are honest about it being personal.

Naw if I was jealous I could just join the bandwagon with the rest of you Ohio Steelers fans.

Lol, people like wiz are amusing, they're not pricks. I can totally pick up on his vibe. And the comment 'I'd get promoted 8 times over night' was clever.

How pissed would you guys be if I won? Funny story, this summer I found a winning lottery ticket. I've never bought one in my life. It was for $5 and I still haven't cashed it in.

I wouldn't be pissed off at all! I know you would break off a piece for you IE BFF.

I bet Wizards is a great co-worker to mess around with without taking things personal. You guys need to work on your social skills.

I was a Steelers fan in the 70s, I was Steelers fan in the 80s, I was a Steelers fan in 90s, I was a Steelers fan in 00s, and I am still a Steelers fan. After 4+ decades, there's no "bandwagon" about it.

Yeah, it sucks going to the playoffs year after year after year after year....

And NOT having a laundry list of 1st round busts.

Why aren't you a Yankees fan?

It's amazing how many Steeler / Yankees / Irish fans there are in the world between the ages of 45-55. I mean, if you're gonna bail, bail big.

No. I'm an Indians fan. But I wasn't all that into baseball as a kid. Football has always been my favorite sport, by a long shot. And it's only 100 miles from Canton to Pittsburgh. There are LOTS of Steelers fans in the area.

Sorry.......... misread your post. I became a Steelers fan not so much because they were a dynasty, but because I loved the Steel Curtain defense. I've always preferred great defense to great offense, for the most part. So it's not like I would be a Yankees fan just because they win a lot.

I hear ya. I grew up outside Chicago halfway to South Bend and people outside the Region can't understand why we are Bears fans although I was in college already when Irsay snuck the Mayflowers into Indy.

I was in the steel industry out of college and was fortunate to go to 3 Browns / Steelers games in the early 90's. Watched our entire bus of Steeler fans empty out at the Mistake and get into a Battle Royale. I stayed on the bus and when they returned bloody and victorious I was asked, "Why didn't you join us?" To which I replied, "I couldn't find a Packer fan and there was all the Slivovitz I could drink."

Good times.

Anyways, you've got the Indians. That's a big enough cross to carry.

You know that Walt Disney World is the number one honeymoon destination in the world, right?

Sorry but where did you find that stat? I am a Disney fan and yes Disneyland is better than Disneyworld Magic Kingdom. But that stat just seems made up to me.

Our favorite is Animal Kingdom Lodge. We go down tomorrow and we're staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins this time. Mom, dad, and my two sisters are tagging along so we went with two cabins.

We've stayed at Fort Wilderness twice, New Orleans, Contemporary Hotel, Polynesian, Animal Kingdom, DW Condos and camped at Fort Wilderness.

No you wouldn't. You'd put the lump sum into a joint venture with Warren Buffet and buy back Jeep from the Italians then build us lifted JK's on Fox long travels, 40's, Dana front and rear with a Cummins diesel and a six speed. You are great American YJ!

Can I just get a f'ing diesel Wrangler Unlimited finally... or can they make they damn new Ford Bronco they've been talking about for the last 6 years. Don't give me any more ideas. I've already spent my money on buying the Patriots.

I actually bought some the other night, and tonight. I have a few between both purchases. 2 different gas stations, in different towns. Because I'm sure that drastically increases my odds. Lol.

buying tickets in different states is really the only main way of increasing your odds

There's a difference between taunting and teasing. I was doing the latter... with my coworkers... who are my friends... and have far thicker skin than anyone here apparently. I merely relayed that story to you all.

Allow me to educate you.

That's the Disney resort we stayed. Hardly "Mickey Mouse themed."

That's Walt Disney, one of the most brilliant creative minds and capitalists the world has ever seen, calling you an idiot.

That's Buzz Lightyear, space ranger, felling sorry for your blackened heart and its inability to experience joy.

This is me, on my honeymoon, not giving a fuck what you think.

We did a two week honeymoon. One week at Disney then a seven night (not Disney) cruise.

Boy O Boy... You look like a charming gentleman.. Love the ears.
