1. VERY BIG win for the program. This is the kind of game that can take a good team, and help them turn the corner to being a GREAT team.

2. Run, Run, Run, Run, Run, Run, Run!!! And then Run again! I love it!

3. As dominating as this looked, the coaches and players will still have plenty to work on; Miami gave us some key help in the form of penalties and dropped passes, that really gave us a great base to work with. Without that help, it might have played out very differently.

4. This Defense is for real, and in the same class as ANY other defense in college football.

5. I think we should not overlook something that everyone should be able to appreciate: Golson apparently broke a minor team rule. Kelly could have just let it slide, as the kid is the starting QB. But he didn't. Kelly sat him for the first series. The record book will show that Golson DID NOT start tonight's game. Yet, he didn't go overboard and overreact to the issue. Thanks, Coach Kelly, for doing it right!

6. Miami's defense is pretty bad, but congrats to the OLine on a job well done. 376 yards rushing, and almost 600 (587) total yards. Kudos!

how does "starting" work? The reason I ask, Chris Brown was in on the first offensive snap, yet his name didn't appear on NBC's little starting lineup notifications.. how does that work?

Oh, and nice observations, lol.. I'm in agreement

1. Great win for the program. It's games like these that launch momentum, especially for the offense, that can serve as a spring board.

2. We adjusted well to the speed, it may pay off down the road against USC. Its a good thing that we saw it now and survived.

3. Brian Kelly gets the game ball. He called one hell of a game. The zone read is going to become a big part of our offense. I love how hes evolved as a coach. He strangles teams to death slowly. This greats a feeling of anxiousness and mistakes in the opposition.

4. EG looked like he grew alot over the bye week. He was reading the coverage very well, and that pass to DD was awesome. He read the safety's position perfectly.

5. Props to our line and backs. They did their job.

6. Nice adjustments by Diaco. He changed it up well. No TD's in 3 games. Letting up a little over 7 per game. We might be up to #1 in scoring defense now. TCU is not average over 10 in their loss.

Great win. Great game. 5-0!!!!!

Glad to see that Kelly kept the pedal to the metal the entire game. I'm of the opinion that playing it conservative when you have the lead can, and probably will, lead to disaster. They kept Miami on their heals the whole time.

All in all, a fantastic game.

AWESOME WIN!
All around, the best game played by the entire TEAM in maybe a decade.
I was surprised and a bit disappointed in the pass rush.
Shocked is probably the better word.

2 points:
-80 will get drafted higher, but this offense runs thru 20. Thankfully, Kelly is finally playing him. His vision, agility, and burst is the complete package. It's like another team is running the ball with him in there.

-GA3 was MADE for the I formation.

Their offense has the potential to be very good. Theyll be an up and down team this year. FSU is not doin well against NC State.

I'm not buying that. They go to plenty of SEC games that are televised on CBS. The only other game possible is Oklahoma vs Texas. I think they go to South Bend. I'm planning on being in attendance so maybe i'm being overly optimistic.

2. Haven't seen our OL dominate this thoroughly in I don't know how long.

WHOOOOOOOO! Golson looked fantastic, Wood, GAIII, and Cam looked great, and the defense looked great. Keivarae was wrapping up very well on some of those. Duke who? Stephen who? Excellent win that should give us good momentum for Stanford, who will be very tough. Also, the uniforms looked great in real life. My friends, none of whom are ND fans, all commented favorably on them. F*ck Mark May and the rest of the haters. 5-0, let's keep this train rolling.
