We haven't ever done this in the BK era, no reason to expect it now.
I know brother, just makes me feel better to type it.

One thing I failed to mention....2 obvious pick plays that were not called by officials. I think BK needs to submit these to the ACC and ask for clarification since the same calls lost the FSU game last year. And make it public that he did it and make the response public as well.
Anyone know where to find a replay of the whole game??? My damn dvr didn't record it
he had to because they were killing us with the underneath routes...Van Gorder...yeeesh. Seeing Sheldon Day (our best pass rusher) drop into pass coverage a couple times makes zero sense to me.

Too much negativity in this thread. A W is a W.
I'm moving forward.
Well, SEC soooo....I'll laugh if the Irish drop in the rankings more than Auburn does.
And dropping Day in to coverage to stop that is the best they could come up with? I'm sorry, but that inexcusable.
Kizer eyes were glued to fuller just about every play, even last play as he's backing up toward opposite side. How the safety didn't get in position for a play is puzzling. Hopefully they work on that and play c rob to give him a big target to see.
Ok.......... you people need to stop complaining about Day "dropping into coverage". Day wasn't covering anyone. It's a standard thing in a zone blitz, to have a lineman drop back into a throwing lane, so that the QB cannot throw a ball to the space vacated by the blitzer. The DL is NOT expected to cover anyone. They are just there to put a body into the throwing lane.

This. Thank you Moose. All of you guys would be screaming if Day hadn't dropped back and the QB completed a pass in that giant window.

I think the problem with Day dropping is that he is one of our best pass rushers. I am not against dropping a D-lineman in coverage (on a zone blitz) but I would prefer it be someone else.
Maybe now we'll run the ball?
I just shook my Brian Kelly Magic 8-ball - "Nope, Better Get Used to It."
For the love of fvcking God; ND ran the ball 34 times today. They only threw it 30 times. Why is anyone bitching about not running the ball?
